DELTA Eyesight Alignment Putting TECH– Marksman Techniques for Reading Greens, Alignment, and Getting the Correct Speed to Hole More Putts
Once I grip my putter with my left hand low (I’m right-handed), after I have read the PIT, break-point, and stepped off my putt, I just use my right eye to align up my putt on the PIT, instead of the hole. I then determine the length of my Strike Zone by using the right side of my right foot to gauge the backstroke and the left side of my left foot for the follow through stroke. I keep my focus on my Strike Zone and don’t even look at the hole or PIT until I complete my follow through stroke.
After I step off my putting distance for the speed of my putt , I read the green to get my alignment to PIT point, then I just focus on the area between my feet, or my Strike Zone. Like my golf swing, I just focus on my Strike Zone, like a batter would use in baseball. This keeps my focus on a very narrow zone. My alignment and speed are then determined by my right eye, point A in the featured image, and speed is determined by the distance between my feet.

TICK-N-TOCK Putting Technique
Just a last note on the speed and break of the putt ,as the greatest effect of the slope, or undulation, of the green is in the last third part of your putt. I focus most of my attention on the last third of the path of my putt. The last third of my putt is where momentum is decreasing and allowing the slope, or undulation of the green, to have the greatest effect on the ball’s direction.
For putts into 10- feet, my objective is to hole the putt. But for putts outside the 10- foot radius, I want to lag my putt inside 2- feet of the hole.

In the photograph below, I’m 64 years old. This photograph was taken after we did a WINTER Photo shoot (21Feb22) for our line of US WINGS® Leather Jacket that I carry in our online store. We took advantage of an unseasonable warm February day in the mid-60’s to do this photo shoot. This was done in my home GYM. An AB Challenge is a great way to show off the results of my CASE FITNESS Program that is part of my DELPHI DIET & FITNESS System for my physical condition, and the condition of my skin, even at age 64, soon to be 65.
