These finely-crafted leather jackets make excellent Veterans’ Day or Holiday Gifts. The A-2 and G-1 Leather Flight Jackets meet all Military Specs, and are supplied to all five branches of the U.S. Military. I’m featured below with a Harley-Davidson and I’m wearing the A-2 Cape Buffalo Leather Flight Jacket with a P-51 Mustang with a friend that enjoys weekend flying.
The A-2 Leather Flight Jacket is mainly supplied to the U.S. Army and Air Force, while The G-1 Leather Flight Jacket is supplied to the U.S. Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. One of the main differences is the fur collar.

The Veterans’ returning home from World War II took to the open road in their Harley-Davidson and Indiana Motorcycles to help them transition back home. At first, they depended on the same A-2 Leather Flight Jacket that they wore while on missions. The Biker Jacket with a diagonal zipper and the waist belt is worn in lieu of the A-2 Jacket. Below is The US WINGS® Leather Motorcycle Jacket comes in black or the classic antique brown.
The CWU-45P Nylon Flight Jacket
Toward the end of World War II, there was an additional Nylon CWU-45P Flight Jacket that was developed for pilots and airmen to wear. US WINGS® offers the CWU-45P Nylon Flight Jacket in the basic and the TOPGUN Flight Jacket that will be appearing the TOPGUN-2 movie, scheduled to be released in June of 2020, as shown in the Trailer below. THE QATSPY® Apparel Company offers this TOPGUN Jacket, as well as the Basic CWU-45P Flight Jacket, shown above.
