Screen Printed T-Shirts for the Welders to Who Enjoys Burning Rods, Smelling Flux, and Heavy Metal
There is nothing that is more iconic than a welder with a welding hood and electrode rod or wire welder drawing an arc using heavy metal in manufacturing or construction of our Great Country. To help celebrate how you have Made America Great Again, wear a T-shirt that highlights the importance and need of Vocational Skilled Trades, like welding that you have achieve.
I came up with the caption on the T-Shirt that states ‘I DON’T NEED THERAPY‘ because Welding has helped me transition from my professional career as a Grid Engineer for 33- years into my retirement life where I enjoy the satisfying hard working in m welding shop with significant rewards. Instead of a life just existing that can lead to health issues, cognitive decline, and boredom, I’m engaged in a challenging trade in my welding shop. Welding is actually my Therapy as noted on the T-Shirt.
The Importance of Trades that Built America
Welding has built our country since the early 1900’s where it provided people with a profession for both men and women, where Rosie the Riveter has became Rosie the welder. Celebrate the welding profession and the contribution that welders has made especially during World War II that allowed for one of the most economical booms in American history.
The welding trade can allow a man or women the ability to learn the trade and with experience can start earning income without taking out expensive student loan in the neighborhood of $225,000 or more without a clear path for a professional career. A person isn’t talking about 4 years of college; but less than 18- months of learning a trade and starting a demanding profession of welding, or any number of other trades.
Use this T-Shirt to encourage people to get into a trade at a VOTECH College and earn a income in less than 24- months. With the modern-day welding equipment like computer supported welding machines and plasma cutters a person can become a proficient welders in less than 6 months.
Every time that I get on my Indian Scout Bobber to ride to our hangar, I think of the trades of mechanics and welding that built my motorcycle. We would not have the modern-day advances without these trades.
