The QATSPY GOLF® The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Golf Coaching Procedure

First, before I get into the details about The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure, I would like to make one observation and ask if you’ve ever experienced these situations before:

OBSERVATION: The golf swing comes down to these two simple ideas: MOVEMENT and POSITIONING, or MP!

QUESTIONS:

  • Practiced your golf swing or a particular technique for hours thinking you had it down, only to lose it on the golf course, even on the first tee?
  • Not being able to make consistent golf shots with distance and control on the golf course, like you had practiced?
  • Feel like that the harder you try, the more difficult your golf swing becomes to perform, both on and off the course?

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you are certainly not alone. It’s not your fault or your inability to play golf consistently or proficiently that is the issue to improve your game. It’s not even the amount of time that you actually put into your practices or your golf game that is the issue. It is based more on your MP (Movement and Positioning), rather than your practice time that has the biggest impact on your golf game. Have you ever heard the quote- That once you learn to ride a bicycle, you don’t forget.

That’s how the golfer wants to structure their practice sessions, not on techniques alone, but on using MP and existing instincts to perform the golf swing. This is where the term Retrofit MP comes from. The golfer is fitting existing motor skills needed to produce the proper Movement and Positioning to gain consistency in the golf swing. You don’t actually perform your golf swing with techniques, but with Movement and Positioning using existing motor skills.

There is one thing that I can guarantee the golfer who is consistently working to improve their golf game. You might very well practice your golf game using your conscious mind, by thinking through the elements and techniques needed. But once you step foot onto the golf course, you will be relying totally on your subconscious mind’s ability to produce the proper movement and positioning, based on instincts. What’s important are these movements that are based on motor skills developed before the age of eight (8).

If your golf swing mechanics aren’t instinctive, the golfer can’t rely on their techniques to perform their golf swing on a consistent basis on the course. The golfer has to be able to perform their golf swing without swing thoughts. If the golfer starts thinking, they start reasoning, and if they start reasoning, the golf swing is no longer instinctive.

Most golf practices and coaching sessions are mainly set up to address the golfer’s conscious mind and techniques and do little to address the golfer’s subconscious mind’s ability to produce movement and positioning to take advantage of their instincts. The average coaching session is geared up for the golfer to use repetition and technique. This is not always the best method to develop a reliable golf swing. The golf swing is all about movement and positioning then developing repetition. The golfer’s subconscious mind is looking for consistency that it can rely on. The subconscious mind is treating your golf swing like a survival skill.

Ninety percent of our golf game is derived directly from the subconscious mind’s ability to use our instincts, existing motor skills, and muscle memories for movement and positioning. Our golf swing has to be instinctive, like a survival skill, to be useful on the golf course. You can prove this by practicing a technique off the golf course for weeks, then go to the golf course where the technique vanishes into thin air, like a mist. What just happened is that your subconscious mind just sabotaged your new technique.

This is where The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure comes in and provides the ability for improvement to the golfer, both on and off the golf course. One reason for lasting improvements on and off the golf course is that The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure is retrofitted to existing instincts.

Ken Duke, a PGA Member, in an interview with Lisa Cornwell on Golf Channel, alluded to the instinctive movement and positioning to establish his golf swing. He called it the Hinge movement. We all have hinged our wrist; it is one of six movements the wrists naturally perform without us thinking. The golfer creates a mental image of the hinge element that allows the subconscious mind to retrofit an instinctive MP with their golf swing.

Mental images created by positioning and feel are key components in The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure. In Sports Psychology, they refer to mental imaging as Sport Imagery. It’s kind of like your Geometry Teacher telling you if you can draw the problem out, you can solve the problem. Same concept with The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure.

Using cognitive imaging and positioning is like yoga, golf, and other sports in dealing with PTSD, especially with our Vets. That’s why I developed Operation DOG TAG for Vets to use golf to deal with their PTSD (FREE of CHARGE). The golfer uses three of their five senses to RETROFIT Movement and Positioning to develop an instinctive golf game based on feel, imaging, and sound. A great golf shot will have two main elements, sound and feel, before you actually see the results.

The key behind any successful and effective coaching process isn’t getting the golfer to practice, perform, and remember certain techniques. But, a more effective coaching process is to have the golfer Visualize and Feel Movement and Positioning using existing motor skills. This is called Apperception, or APP for short.

Having an instinctive process in place, instead of a conscious procedure, allows the golfer to have an automatic or a spontaneous golf swing. The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure takes advantage of well-developed motor skills and muscle memories that we developed in the batter’s box and are able to take to the tee box without having to think.

If a coaching technique isn’t tied to existing and permanent motor skills, the likelihood of a golfer performing the technique on the golf course is highly unlikely. Matter of fact, the golfer has only about a ten percent chance of retaining the technique, if a conventional coaching procedure is used.

So the Ken Duke procedure that he demonstrated in the interview with Lisa Cornwell is a great MP concept to use in coaching golf. But what The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure does is that it goes into the details of what muscle memory we used when our dad, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, or friend pitched a wiffle ball under-handed to us, while swinging a wiffle bat to make contact.

There are key muscles, ligaments, and tendons that the golfer can use to actually train and develop a consistent golf swing, based on The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure. The title, The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure, provides not only checkpoints, but also training to the golfer to use their instincts to coach themselves, on and off the golf course.

The key to an effective coaching process is to have the golfer set up their golf practices, similar to how they will play golf on the course, I call it the 405- Training Drill. This is like the scrimmage-type football practice retrofitted for golf.

Remember, if you rely on a coach for your confidence and focus, they aren’t going to be there on the course with you. So to have an effective practice session, your practice has to resemble the conditions the golfer will find on the course where you are the player/coach. The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure is a self-coaching procedure.

If you want to create an effective practice session that you can actually take to the golf course, purchase the QATSPY Golf Swing Coaching: The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure.

How Does The-Palmer-Osborne Retrofit MP Coaching Procedure Surpass Other Golf Coaching Procedures

I produced a YouTube Video below that went more into the HOW of what Charlie Rymer referred to as That Wrist Thing in his interview with David Duval on Golf Channel. This YouTube Video is also included in the Download.

The following 20 page illustrated Download procedure along with the YouTube Video above will allow the golfer to train on his/her own in a Self-Training Procedure (STP) to improve their golf game and improve their handicap on and off the golf course. The golfer will discover that more improvements in their golf game will come from playing golf instead of practicing golf or taking golf lessons. Last time I check, not many golfers have the ability to take their golf coach or trainer onto the golf course with them each time the golfer plays.

The reason that this and other Downloads in my Online Store are more effective in improving the golfer’s game is that these Downloads are designed to directly addresses the golfer’s subconscious mind (HOW) than the conscious mind (WHAT).  WHAT doesn’t last very long on the golf course.

There’s one thing that I can guarantee the golfer, you may very well practice your golf swing and take golf lessons using your conscious mind concerning the WHAT, but I can guarantee the golfer that once they step foot onto the golf course that the golfer will be relying totally on their subconscious mind. The subconscious mind runs the show when it comes to HOW on the golf course.

Most golf training sessions and golf lessons do not address the golfer’s subconscious mind. It is kind of like a passing gear on vehicles, it engages only when the driver presses the accelerator.

When there’s a conflict between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind, the golfer’s subconscious mind will win the face-off or duel on the golf course. If your golf swing isn’t instinctive you won’t have it available on the golf course to use.

This QATSPY GOLF Download will provide the golfer the ability to turn their regular round of golf into an effective golf training session that their subconscious mind will retain more effectively. The golfer’s mechanics and techniques will become more instinctive like second nature for the golfer.

As the golfer is using the Downloads from the QATSPY GOLF Online Store in their training session, a great training technique the golfer can use is to use an I-Phone and have a friend or family member video tape the training session as the golfer is talking themselves through The ESPY Golf Swing sequence. The video tape training sessions is effective for two reasons- 1) The tapping session provides the golfer with a virtual round of golf. 2) The video tape will provide the golfer a unique virtual perspective of their golf swing. Both are great training techniques to use along with The QATSPY GOLF Downloads.

This video tapping technique is used by public speakers preparing for speech. If you never tape your self during a training session you need to. It will far surpass any golf lesson you ever had before. Also remember to talk your self through each of the SYNC, PRESET, and YAW Techniques. You will see vast improvement in your next round of golf.

This DOWNLOAD contains 17 Pages of golfing techniques, Illustrations, and videos to help you improve your golf game from tee to green!
