Importance of Exercising for Your Creativity- There are many Benefits from Exercising, One of the Best is Improving Your Natural Creativity

One of the best means to improve one’s creativity is to develop an exercise program. This allows the mind to link up with our creativity, or our imaginations, which is a subconscious function. Exercise not only improves our emotional disposition, but also increases and improves the brain’s ability to communicate with itself through neurotransmitters. This is especially true for people dealing with impaired mental functions.

The medical field has been using a boxing bag workout to treat patients with Parkinson’s. I even use a boxing bag workout in my fitness training for balance and coordination development.

   

I routinely exercise for 30- minutes per day, 5 times per week. I view my exercise routine as active meditation and mental exercise that allows me to access my subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is responsible for 90 percent of our normal daily functions. I consider my physical exercise routine like a fitness workout for my mind, as well as my body. Treat your brain as a muscle; the more you develop and train your brain with challenges, the more efficient and effective it becomes; and the more natural instincts you will develop and use.

People who engage in sports have an ability to experience what is termed ‘Flow’, where skills they have developed and perfected are matched up with challenges on a subconscious level. Sports psychologists use the term Performing In-The-Zone. The more a person exercises, the easier it is for them to get into their Zone. That’s one reason why I like to use music to put me in my zone. When I time my training elements, I use the length of songs rather than timing each element. It allows my mind to not focus on time, but to relax. You see college and professional athletes arrive at the stadium wearing headsets. They are trying to maintain their Zone.

THE QATSPY® The HOME DEPOT® Orange Bucket Challenge to allow the golfer to hit more fairways and greens in regulation. This challenge is set up where the golfer is trying to get 4-out-of-5 golf balls within a 10-foot zone around the bucket.

The Orange Bucket Challenge and my Subconscious Performance

I did a golf training video with a local television station, WJTV-12, called The Orange Bucket Challenge, where my objective was to use my driver and hit 4-out-of-5 of my tee shots to within 10- feet of an orange bucket that represent a 295- yards tee shot. I have attached this video below.

Here’s something to take notice of in this video during my Orange Bucket Challenge when I mentioned that there was a slight breeze from my left to my right coming in from behind me. I hit two shots in a previous walk-through video of my five shots. This raw video clip includes three of my five shots. Now as soon as I mentioned the left to right wind, look how my subconscious mind corrected for this left to right wind, which I wasn’t aware of until I viewed this video below.

In this HOME DEPOT® Orange Bucket Challenge above, I’m using a throw-down Baseball Home Plate with a hole that I drilled for my rubber tee. This home plate helps me maintain a baseball batter’s mentality in order to take my golf swing from the batter’s box to the tee box.

I automatically started hitting draws for my last two shots in this raw video above, with the last one having a tremendous amount of lateral counter-clockwise spin, or draw. My last tee shot dramatically spun out to my left, after it initially hit within the 10- foot zone of the bucket. This is how exercise is important and having a sport is so crucial to individuals of any age to develop our creativity and where that creativity can become automatic, or natural, to us over time.

Here are Three conditions that must be in place for creativity to become automatic and perform In-The-Zone:

  1. Normal and routine tasks and conditions must exist.
  2. Rely on a high degree of relaxation, confidence, and muscle memory.
  3. The conscious and subconscious minds are focused on two different situations.
