Golfer’s 410 Shot Clock Golf Swing APP– Best golf swing technique to get rid of your rust and eliminate swing thoughts and downtime. The 410 Shot Clock Swing APP is to take your golf swing from the batter’s box to the tee box with a Clock.

Even if you are an amateur where your golf game is your passion and not your profession, you don’t have to deal with downtime when your working at your career. You can do both with the right technique!

To develop and get into your ZONE of ultimate performance, you have to create mental imagery of one key factor in your performance and everything else will be a chain reaction backward to the top, like a kinetic chain reaction. This is kind of like riding a bicycle, once you get on the bicycle your body’s instinctive action will take over.

But the key is to unlock that instinctive procedure that is locked up in what medical professionals refer to as the unconscious mind, or what I call the Permanent mind. The Permanent is where every part of your life is stored. To unlock this takes mental imagery and focus that is key.

In basketball, they have a timeline and shot clock for the players to bring the ball up the court and shoot the ball to keep the game moving. I like to use the same premise in my, and your, golf game that I call the 410 Shot Clock Technique that has allowed me to develop more Power, Accuracy, and Consistency (PAC) in my golf game that I coach.

Using an Elementary Technique in Your Golf Game

Since elementary school, we have learned to tell time based on the clock face and hands on the clock. This is an endurable image in our minds that is already established. So take that image to create your own shot clock and combine it with a strike zone from your baseball game.

Even in my practice sessions, I have a throw down home plate that I use in the featured image above and in the videos below to keep my mind focused on a very narrow zone. Any high level athlete understands the need to focus on a very narrow zone to eliminate thinking. Remember TOP GUN: MAVERICK where Tom Cruise tells Miles Teller- That if you think up there, You’re Dead!

When you focus you’ll stop thinking. Swing thoughts are the worst thing to do on the golf course just like on the basketball court. If you watch a basketball player during March Madness, you will see the proficient players just pull up and shoot behind the 3-point arc verse pulling up and hesitating and thinking. When they hesitate they more than not will miss their shot.

The Orange Bucket Challenge

Below is a series of short videos that I did for a local television station (WJTV-12 here in Jackson. MS) SPORTS ZONE that included an introduction, a walk through, and a demonstration of my five 295- yard tee shots to impact within 15- feet of an orange bucket. This was done with one take.

The camera crew express some concern about their ability to zoom-in with one camera setup over 300- yard tee-shoot. So I decided to use special golf balls called ALMOST Golf balls that travel one-third the distance of an actual golf ball up to 100- yards.

So you’re hitting in feet instead of yards that make these great practice sessions golf balls to hit in a football field that we did here in my video. You can shape these golf balls as I demonstrated, below.

A Great Use of Video to Improve your Golf Game

Making a video during your practice sessions is a great technique to create game day-like conditions during your practice sessions to develop your instincts that make your golf game just a walk in the park. You want to use the clock face shown in the featured image, above, to swing the handle of the club through the strike zone from the 4 O’clock position and follow through to the 10 O’clock Position. Thus the term 410 Shot Clock Technique. The more keywords and mental images you can create the better your golf game will become.

You do this swing orientation technique and you will pick up more Power, Accuracy, and Consistency that are the main drivers of your golf game. Consistency breeds Confidence because you’re able to build on prior experience instead of recreating the wheel each time in your golf game. This is why golfers find it difficult to see any improvements in their golf game. In two weeks of regular practice both mental and physical, with the Sync & Preset technique you can improve your golf game and lower your handicap.

Synch & Preset to Cock and Lock Position

There are two wrist actions in the golf swing that will set up 80- percent of your entire golf swing sequence. You perform the Sync & Preset technique into the Cock and Lock Position and the only remaining maneuver you’ll have to do is to take the handle of the golf club up to the top of the swing like a baseball batter would perform in the batter’s box. I call this the Palmer – Pro Technique.

The Sync-Preset into the Cock and Lock Position that sets up 80% of the golfer’s entire golf swing.

The name of this Synch and Preset Technique is based on the two wrist action in the golf swing of Palmarflex, like throwing a baseball with lead wrists and Pronation with the trail wrist, like swinging a bat. When you complete the Palmer-Pro Technique, you should look down and see your wrists in the Cock & Lock Position, shown below.

Create a mental Image

Just creating a physical and mental image will allow you to see significant improves your golf game before spring time starts, or 3- weeks, base when you start. The sooner the better!

Prostate Cancer

Click on this image to read and share my experience of my Prostate Journey that I have been on since December of 2023.

Guys, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Prostate Cancer in December of 2023 and for part of my recovery, I have been mentally and physically going through my Sync & Preset Maneuver for my morale and rehab. Even though this is two wrist actions, I refer to it as one wrist maneuver. As part of my rehab, I’ve been hitting 12- foot pitch shots in my training facility along with doing my Kegel rehab.

The key to doing the Kegel rehab correctly is to not do them aggressively and tighten up on your pelvic floor muscles, but just gradually with a light tension on your pelvic floor muscles. You will get better results with the gradual and light tension three times a day.
