This was taken on my farm yesterday just north of Nixa, Missouri where Jason Bourne is from in the Movie Bourne Ultimatum. I’m 64 years old and still work on my farm and workout in my gym. I’m here to give you encouragement to don’t give up trying to lose weight and get into shape. My diet & fitness program has allowed me to model my line of Sportswear that I carry in my QATSPY Online Store. Keeping the TOP 2 New Year’s Resolutions DIET & FITNESS– It is Mid February and Some Might Need Some Encouragement on Being Committed   

PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP OR IN and THROW IN THE TOWEL!

I realize it is tempting to throw in the towel on your New Year’s Resolution trying to lose weight and get into better shape following a diet and fitness plan. Don’t give up, this is too important to your overall health and fitness not to pursue. This impacts your heart health, especially you ladies, to not stick with it to lower your blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels. My typical blood pressure is shown with me on my INDIAN Motorcycle in our hangar, at the end of this article.

 

These are three (3) vitals that I monitor on a daily and monthly basis along with measuring my waistline. A good waistline for those losing weight, or a rough RBMI, is to take your height in inches and divide it by 2.2 for a healthy waistline to shoot for. AND People that are thin, you have to monitor the same three (3) vitals and keep them in the acceptable level.

As you can tell from the my height of 66- inches, I wasn’t highly recruited as a basketball player coming right out of high school. For example, my RBMI is 66/2.2= 30- inches. My actual waistline is 29.5- inches at age 64, see my Waistline Chart, above. I’m riding my INDIAN Scout Bobber 60 Motorcycle. This was taken in a little town just west of Madison on State Highway 22, Flora, MS.

My meteorologist team at WJTV-12 predicted warm temperatures on January 18, 2022 in Madison, Mississippi where I live and where our hangar is located to be in the mid 60’s. I was able to do a photo shoot both inside and outside with our jackets. The camera crew couldn’t believe that I actually lost weight over the holidays that they challenged me to an AB CHALLENGE. Look below toward the end of this article.

There are Three parts to my Diet and Fitness Program      

This is a brief outline of The DELPHI DIET & FITNESS Program that I have followed for the past seven years, almost now for eight (8) years, since November of 2014. This diet and fitness program was what made it possible for me to get into shape, to lose weight, and be able to model with young ladies in their early 20’s that work with me in the sportswear business, see the featured image, above.

DStands for DIET

If you recall the movie 9-to-5, that is the time frame that I eat 90% of my 3- meals and 2 snacks within, that allow me to have one (1) meal outside this window with friends, but not past 7 p.m. Ninety percent (90%) of my meals are at or below a Health Index number of 3.25 and one meal with a Health Index at or below 5.25. I don’t eat anything above a Health Index number of 5.25 or past 7 p.m.

What I did by following the Health Index, it allowed me to turn my body into a Calorie-Burning Juggernaut. I was planning on losing 6- inches in 6- months, but I lost 6- inches in 6- weeks, by January 22, 2015, see my waistline chart above.  

You can use the standard Nutrition Label on products you purchase at your local grocery store or use restaurant’s websites for their nutrition information to calculate your Health Index number that is simple to perform. No food to order, all this is within your control and for your convenience.

HIStands for Health Index–       

I use seven (7) elements from The Nutrition Label below to calculate my HI Number. Pinto Beans are considered the perfect food that I even have them at two (2) of my meals per day that has a HI of 2.75.

Pinto Beans has a HI of 2.75 one of my staples at each meal that I have two times per day. Pinto Beans are considered the Perfect Food to have.

EStand for EXERCISE

I personally workout 45- minutes 6 days per week in my Home GYM. I would recommend you workout at least 3-Days per week at a minimum. Start slow and build from there. My exercise consists of CASE or Cardio, Aerobic, Strength, Exercise Program. Below is me in my Home GYM with all the simple equipment that I workout with, this is IT in a nut shell. You can start off with just the tubing and add equipment as you want more elements added to your fitness workout sessions.

This is all the equipment that I workout with for 45- minutes 6 days per week at age 64. The only piece of equipment not shown here is my Schwinn Stationary 140 bicycle for my cardio workout. If you wonder why I wearing aviators for most of my photos is because I have flash burns working line work that effected my eye to bright lights. It is almost like experience whiteout for about 20- minutes.

It isn’t the amount of weight that you lift; but the reps that you can do that improves your tone, strength and stamina. Again, I’m 64 years old in this gym photograph, above, and on my INDIAN Scout Motorcycle in our hangar, below. I let you be the judge if you think my DELPHI DIET & FITNESS Program works.

LStands for LIFESTYLE

I was at the Kentucky Wildcat verses the Mississippi State Bulldogs Football game on October 30, 2021 where the MSU Baseball team received their NCAA College World Series Baseball Championship that night. I was covering the presentation.

Lifestyle is taking measures to stay active like eating healthy, hobbies, sports, fitness, and attending social events like attending ball games. Think young, because it is really as King David wrote in Proverbs 23:7 For as you think within yourself, so you are.

I used to fly helicopters as part of my job conducting aerial patrols on our transmission lines. After I retired after 33- years, I had to do something to replace that activity in my life at age 57, so like a lot of WWII vets returning home, I bought and started riding my INDIAN Scout motorcycle. The photograph below was taken at our airport in May of 2015, a month before I retired, this was to mark my last flight.

This was taken in May of 2015 the month before I retired from Entergy after 33- Year career as Grid Engineer. The aircraft is a 206-D Bell Jet Ranger that we performed our aerial patrol in flying routine and storm damage recon.

P- Stands for Performance

Now I dropped something that was totally unexpected, besides dropping inches and pounds, I dropped decades off the condition of my skin at age 64. This is due to the HI Performance that identifies foods that is high in fiber, protein, and probiotic that allows your skin to have a source of collagen along with the strength training. Also a strong muscular system allows you to have a stronger immune system, especially during this pandemic and after this pandemic. 

If it wasn’t for an accurate weather forecast with low humidity values from our meteorologist team at WJTV-12, we couldn’t have taken clear photos and I couldn’t have taken my shirt off for the AB Challenge photograph that the camera crew made. The challenge would been then 33 degree temperatures. The hangar isn’t heated or cool.

This was a photo taken on a unusual warm day on January 18, 2022 at our hangar in Madison, Mississippi. The camera crew challenged me to an AB Challenge, because they couldn’t believe I made it through the holidays without gaining weight. I actually lost 0.25 inch from my waistline.
