We generally associate the importance of a proper Diet and Fitness with health and improve lifestyle and trying to stay healthy well into our 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and into our 90’s. We don’t usually associate diet and fitness with reversing the aging process, like turning the clock back even though we have been retired. Following a Diet & Fitness to Boost the Effectiveness of Your Vaccination. I refer to one’s diet and fitness similar to the primer for the finish coat of paint.

Following a good diet and fitness program is a great method to Boost your vaccination. Not enough attention is given to diet and fitness in vaccinations. The effectiveness of your vaccination will be heavily dependent on your health, fitness, and conditioning, WITHOUT QUESTION! I refer to one’s diet and fitness the primer for the finish coat of paint. The finish coat of paint is only as good at the primer that you use.  

What the Delta variant has proved is that the effectiveness of your vaccination will be heavily reliant on your health, fitness, and conditioning. So take this opportunity to evaluate your health, fitness, and conditioning. The benefits of your fitness and conditioning are too numerous to list all of them here. But one significant benefit of your fitness and conditioning is that it boosts your immune system, and takes away a pathway for COVID-19 to evade your immune system.

Usually the reason a person follows a diet and fitness program is to lose weight and to get into better shape. A person hasn’t considered diet and fitness as their ability to survive COVID-19 and its variances. But, in some cases, survival has come down to a person’s health, fitness, and conditioning.

From my article, The Best Defense Against COVID-19, Your Health, dated January 15, 2021, obesity contributes to three of the top underlying causes of people NOT surviving COVID-19. Matter of fact, fat cells actually contributes to COVID-19 in its ability to overcome your immune system as acting as an ACE-2 receptor. COVID-19 can attach to itself to your fat cells and enter your system undetected wrecking havoc on your immune system. The four leading causes of death from COVID-19 in March of 2020 in New Orleans were:

  • 35% due to Diabetes
  • 25% due to obesity
  • 20% chronic kidney disease
  • 20% cardiac issues  

How I Gauge my Health, Fitness, & Conditioning     

I haven’t used scales to weigh myself since December of 2014. One reason is that muscle weighs 14.2 percent more than fat. So if you’re adding muscle and reducing your fat content and becoming healthier, you could have a net loss of ZERO in your weight. I prefer to measure as to weigh myself.

Below is my waistline register that I kept from November of 2014.

In my DELPHI Age-Defying Fitness System, I’m trying to either maintain or add muscle mass at age 64. So using scales wouldn’t be effective for me. The measurements with tapes and monitoring devices are significantly a better gauge of my health, fitness, and conditioning than scales would be. I take four measurements to monitor my health, fitness, and conditioning. I measure my waistline (weekly), blood pressure (nightly), blood glucose, and cholesterol levels (take very 3-months). I have at home tapes and monitors to gauge all these regularly.

 

At age 64- my combined cholesterol is 176, my non-fasting blood glucose level is 112, and my average blood pressure that I take every night is 115/69. Below is my blood pressure that I took last night (16Aug2021).

This was my blood pressure without prescribed medication on Monday 16Aug2021.

Just to show the significance of my DELPHI Age-Defying Fitness System, I DO NOT take any prescribed medication of any kind. My objective is to improve my numbers by improving my strength, flexibility, stamina, and conditioning. Focus on the term conditioning, because it has an important reference to my health fitness.

 

The DELPHI Age-Defying Fitness System

This is my GYM that is un-air-conditioned and unheated taken on July 31, 2021 right before I started my 60- minute workout session at age 64. If I wait until I’ve finished my workout session, I would be drenched in sweat. The Heat Index at 7:00 PM was 122 degrees. CAUTION You got to train yourself and build up to these type conditions.

When I renovated the attic space over my golf training facility and photography studio into my GYM, shown above, I didn’t realize that I was constructing a rejuvenation skin clinic. After doing a significant amount of research on the positive effects of sweating, I just insulated the walls and ceiling of my GYM and sheetrock and paneled the walls with 1/2-inch plywood. I DID NOT install either an air-conditioner or a heater in my GYM, on purpose.

One of the best and natural anti-aging treatments a person can have is a conditioning that I call Sweat-It-Out Conditioning. So, I workout in my GYM during the summer months in Mississippi, where the heat index reaches 123 degrees. Be sure to have a moist towel to wipe off your sweat and wash your face after your workout. Sweating has positive effects, but the remnants of sweat contain toxic waste that can clog and irritate the skin.

This in my daily skincare that I use, I especially like the results I receive from the AXE ‘Snake Peel’ and Witch Hazel that is great for tighten the skin. I found out all effective Witch Hazel was when I was removing my face camouflage after an outing.

Hint- AXE makes a product call Snake-Peel that I use after my workout on my skin to gently scrub my face and neck.

Since last March of 2020, when I completed my GYM, I concentrated on my strength and conditioning, but I just recently started seeing positive results and effects of my DEL-Rx Fitness Program on my skin and its apparent age.

Of course, since I started my DELPHI Age-Defying Fitness System, I dropped 8.5 inches in my waistline, as I have mentioned above. But there is one number that I dropped as well, the appearance of my skin, that I’m even more ecstatic about, in addition to losing inches off my waistline.
