I live in Madison, Mississippi, where we have a double-A Farm team, the M-Braves, of the Atlanta Braves. After their season ended, the Braves’ management marked off outlines of par- 3 greens on the baseball field and invited golfers to a Par-3 shootout.
I have a friend who is a local sports broadcaster for a local television station, and he also plays golf. He did a broadcast where he and the voice of the M-Braves challenged each other to a closest-to-the hole shootout. My friend made one of the best tee shots that I’ve ever witnessed him making.
When I commented on his tee shot and how it was one of his best tee shots, he replied with the following reply: ‘I love it Charles! That’s the most comfortable I’ve felt swinging a golf club!‘
