The Heart of the Matter of Defying Aging- A Healthy Heart is at the Center of Defying Our Aging Process to Look & Feel Younger & Better

Back in November of 2014, I had three lifestyle changes that significantly improved my health and how I looked and felt. FIRST– I started riding my bicycle about 8- miles per day along with lifting weights and aerobics training. SECOND– I started eating all my meals between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  THIRD– I only eat foods that had a low Weight Factor Number that indicate foods with high amounts of fiber and protein with low amounts of sugar and the hidden sugars, starches.

I started the Triple Crown Program at the very worst time of the year, heading into the Holidays. I started these lifestyle changes on November 28, 2014, the day after Thanksgiving. I just retired and I was starting my sports training and apparel business. Just to add another twist to the degree of difficulty of this, I was also going to model my clothing line with girls that were a third of my age that work with me. This also includes me being the trainer in my training videos that includes golf and fitness training.

I just turned 64 when this was taken in my Home Gym on May 19, 2021 just before I started my workout program. I just grew a beard because I was posing for a photo shoot where I was going to wear an Indiana Jones-style Leather Jacket.

My main goal was just to drop the weight and inches for the photo shoots and training videos that I was planning to do. But besides dropping 52- pounds and 8.50- inches following this diet and fitness program, I also dropped years off my appearance. The high protein and high fiber diet boast my nutrient thiamine (vitamin B1), which is an essential vitamin that helps your body convert food into energy.

NOTE: Thiamine deficiency can also lead to tingling, prickling, burning sensation of “pins and needles” in the upper and lower limbs. This symptom is known as paresthesia. I experienced numbness and tingling sensation in my feet and calves recently. So I added two supplements to my diet- magnesium and thiamine that have significantly alleviated these symptoms.

     

The Heart of Your Health Matters

When it comes to heart health, the ability to convert, or to metabolize, your food directly into energy is aided by thiamine that is essential, because the alternative is worst, converting your food into fat. The second part of my Triple Crown diet also had a direct impact on my body’s ability to convert food into energy. The body optimum level of metabolizing our food is between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. with 2 p.m. being the maximum period of consuming calories. This is the reason why at 2 p.m. we feel the need to have a snack. Hopefully, a healthy one.

One of the main staples of my diet program is what is considered the perfect food, Pinto Beans. Pinto Beans has a Weight Factor of 2.57. Eating Pinto Beans that are high in fiber and proteins helps your body produce collagen that help repairs muscles, joints, and even more important your skin.

This photograph was taken with me modeling our Indiana Jones-Style Leather Jacket where we are observing the 40th Anniversary of the Raider of the Lost Ark movie being released on June 12, 1981.

Also besides the DELPHI DIET & CAST FITNESS, you can do one more important thing- Think Younger. If you want to feel and look younger- act and think younger, because the way a person thinks in their heart– so shall they be.

One of my many training videos includes my Orange Bucket Challenge to make your golf swing more instinctive. Here’s a FACT– We might very well practice and train improving our golf swing with our conscious mind, developing and using swing thoughts. But I can guarantee the golfer this one thing, that when they step foot onto the golf course they will be relying totally on their subconscious mind, where their instincts are located. If you ever wonder WHY you can’t take your golf practice to the golf course this is the reason, your golf swing on the golf course is instinctive. Drills develops instincts.
