The A-2 Leather Flight Jacket that was introduced in June of 1931 that provided the basis and inspiration for the Indiana Jones-Style Leather Jacket that Harrison Ford is wearing. We supplied both Disney World and the movie studios with the Indiana Jones-Style Jacket. We have also provided the A-2 and G-1 Leather Jackets to some of the favorite military movies you might have seen on the silver screen.
Just an interested trivia about Indiana Jones character, Harrison Ford was the first option by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, that would go to Tom Selleck, but couldn’t take the role of Indiana Jones due to contractual agreements with CBS to play Thomas Magnum in Magnum PI. Also George Lucas just used Harrison Ford in STAR WARS. The rest is history.
