My Entry Log Results of the 925-MET DIET PLAN and my CASPER Fitness Model Program Measuring My Results in Inches, instead of my weight Loss
In October of 2014, I started an online Sports Training Apparel Quarters to provide self-coaching golf swing fundamentals for golfers to develop a natural classic golf swing. I also included in my online business some custom apparel for business and casual wear, based on traditional and classic fashion. This also includes the authentic A-2 Leather Flight Jackets that we supply to the U.S. Military.
I planned to produce my own classic golf swing fundamentals videos, providing techniques based on the baseball-type swing. The apparel that I carried in my online store I was going to model, as well. The only obstacle I faced in doing both was that I was 45- pounds overweight. I’m a firm believer in videos to help demonstrate classic golf swing fundamentals. As the owner of my business, I wanted to model my line of custom-fitted apparel. That way the average person can see how the apparel will fit and look on them, because I have definitely not modeled before. I’m just an average blue-collar linemen.
On November 28, 2014, I started my 925-MET DIET Model PLAN to prepare me for both my training and fitness videos that included me modeling my apparel line. This was the first time that I was actually going to measure my success with a diet and fitness plan, based on dimensions instead of weight. There is a good reason that I wanted to measure my results in inches, instead of pounds lost. Clothing is fitted based on dimensions, instead of weight, and I was working toward the waistline of 32-inches that I had in high school.
The 925-MET DIET Model PLAN was based on a diet that is high in fiber and protein, but restricts sugars and the hidden sugars, or starches. Sugars, and especially starches, are the main drivers of obesity. I had some evidence that my diet would work from my mid-30’s. I ate a high fiber and high protein diet at that time, because I was a powerlifter. I had an aggressive fitness program during that period that I followed.
In my late 30’s, I focused more on my fitness than my diet; and as we age, our metabolism slows down. In my 40’s, I picked up a tremendous amount of weight. I made a wrong assumption that I could maintain my weight on my fitness program. That was a wrong assumption to make. People who make New Year’s Resolutions make the same assumptions that don’t offer the results they want. By mid-February, they have given up on their New Year’s Resolutions.
I would like to provide you with a little different approach to your New Year’s Resolution of getting into shape that offers results.
I was in my mid 40’s and steadily gained weight that continued until I was 57. The photograph below is me (on the right) and Ned Reynolds. This photograph was taken on November 27, 2014. I was being interviewed by Ned Reynolds with the ESPN, JOCK 98.7 FM, radio station in Springfield, MO about classic golf swing fundamentals, where I took the golf swing from the batter’s box to the tee box.
Before I realized it, I was 45- pounds overweight and had a waistline of 37.75- inches, which was over 5.75- inches over my ideal waist measurement of 32- inches. This photograph was a game-changer for me. I had to get into shape before March of 2015, when I was starting my online golf training videos and modeling my apparel line in my online store. I had three short months to lose 45- pounds and 5.75- inches, starting in the month December of 2015.
Results of the 925-MET DIET Model PLAN
My goal was to lose 2- inches per month over the next three months. This was a conservative goal by most diet plans. My actual results as of the end of December of 2014, was that I had lost 4.75- inches, 2.3 times what my goal was. I was within one- inch of my goal in just one month, and I was totally ecstatic. By the end of February of 2015, I had exceeded my goal by a quarter-of-an-inch, and I had a waistline of 31.75- inches.
Obvious from the featured photograph, I wasn’t finished yet, as by July of 2015, I had lost 7.50- inches, down to 30.25- inches. I finally hit my plateau on September 05, 2015 at losing 9.25- inches in my waistline. When I started my diet plan in December, I weighed in at my doctor’s office at 189- pounds. On September 05, 2015, I was at my doctor’s office again, where I weighed in at 145- pounds. I actually lost more inches and weight than my goal that I set for myself.
Now, I’m modeling my apparel line with young ladies who work with me and are in their early 20’s. In the photograph above, I’m 63 years old. Not only did I lose weight and inches, I lost the effects of years on my skin, due to the high fiber and protein diet. The 925-MET DIET MODEL PLAN is high in fiber and protein, but low in sugars and starches. For instance, The 925-MET DIET Model PLAN compares the sweet potato high in fiber to a Idaho Potato high in starch to lose weight. High fiber and protein diet will improve skin collagen and elasticity that provide a natural age-defying defense; better than any age-defying creams on the market. Also remember, my profession took me outdoors, where I was exposed to the elements as a lineman.
My weight loss was my main objective, but I really like the unexpected benefit of lowering my numbers: blood pressure, blood glucose, my cholesterol, and not to mention, years off my appearance. The age-defying diet was totally unexpected. My blood pressure reading below is without prescribed medication.
What I did with the 925-MET DIET Model PLAN and CASPER FITNESS PROGRAM was amazing by turning my body into a calorie-burning juggernaut. I surpassed my goals and was able to do my golf training videos and model my apparel line, starting in March of 2015 on schedule.
A word about the featured photograph, I was called in off retirement to help transmission line crews with restoration efforts after Hurricanes Laura and Delta that devastated western Louisiana around Lake Charles, LA. The linemen I used to work with couldn’t believe that I was in this type of shape. They dared me to take my shirt off for this pose. I took them up on their dare; why not, because I was proud of my achievement.
