If you’ve ever thrown a baseball, you got this. If you want to practice your full golf swing, I still have you covered. These AlmostGolfballs® are perfect for working on your golf game in the garage with a tarp or in your backyard. They don’t cause injury to pets or people, nor do they cause property damage.
You can even use these AlmostGolfballs® to practice shaping golf shots in your garage, hitting into a blue tarp that can be purchased from a building supply company or Hardware store. Below is how you can get the critical feedback from using a tarp, and there is no special or expensive equipment to purchase:
Straight Down the Fairway Shot- The AlmostGolfballs® only have backspin hit with a square clubface. When the AlmostGolfballs® hit the tarp, these will spin or drop straight down to the base of the tarp and roll back toward you. You just hit a straight-down-the-pike golf shot.
Slice– I hate to mention it, but I have to cover the slice. Remember your AlmostGolfballs® have tremendous amount of clockwise sidespin for a right-handed golfer. Once the ball hits the tarp, it will travel dramatically to the golfer’s left, because of the tremendous clockwise sidespin on the AlmostGolfballs®. The golfer just hit the AlmostGolfballs® with an open clubface and with the clubhead traveling from an outside-in path. The slice is also influenced by a steeper swing plane.
Fade– The AlmostGolfballs® have a clockwise sidespin for a right-handed golfer. Once the ball hits the tarp, it will travel slightly to the golfer’s left, because of the clockwise sidespin on the AlmostGolfballs®. The golfer just hit the AlmostGolfballs® with an slightly open clubface and open stance, with the golfer’s hands traveling along the opened stance of their toe-line.
Draw- The AlmostGolfballs® have a counter-clockwise sidespin for a right-handed golfer. Once the ball hits the tarp, it will travel slightly to the golfer’s right, because of the counter-clockwise sidespin on the AlmostGolfballs®. The golfer just hit the AlmostGolfballs® with an slightly closed clubface and closed stance, with the golfer’s hands travailing along the closed stance of their toe-line.
Hook– Your AlmostGolfballs® have a tremendous amount of counter-clockwise sidespin for a right-handed golfer. Once the ball hits the tarp, it will travel dramatically to the golfer’s right, because of the tremendous counter-clockwise sidespin on the AlmostGolfballs®. The golfer just hit the AlmostGolfballs® with a closed clubface and with the clubhead travelling from an inside-out path. The hook is also influenced by a flatter swing plane.
