A little Trivia: Aramis was the name of one of the Three Musketeers.

One of the family heirlooms that was handed down to me was my uncle’s World War II A-2 Leather Flight Jacket and his shaving kit, equipped with his straight razor, shaving soap/brush, and a bottle of his favorite, aramis cologne among other items. Ever since I was fourteen years old, I have worn his A-2 Leather Flight Jacket and the aramis cologne, that he liked that has became my cologne of preference as well.
That leather and sandalwood scents A-2 Jacket and of aramis have been a part of my essential items I wear, whether for business travel, formal, or casual wear, as both have that nostalgic and classic feel and fragrance. I have long since hung up my uncle’s A-2 Leather Flight Jacket for preservation reasons and now wear my US WINGS® Authentic A-2 Leather Flight Jacket that we supply to the U.S. Military and has become my new sports jacket of choice.
My US WINGS® A-2 Leather Flight Jacket also serves as my motorcycle jacket that I also fly with on occasions. I have been in aviation going on 35- years and there are two items that I travel with, either on my motorcycle or flying, and these are my A-2 Leather Flight Jacket and my canvas flight bag that includes a bottle of aramis cologne and toothbrush with toothpaste. Kind of like my American Express Card, I never leave home without these items.
Since I’m retired now, I might not shave every day, but two things I do as part of my daily routine is wear my US WINGS A-2 Leather Flight Jacket and aramis cologne for meetings, travel, or causal weekend with friends. There is no mistaken that both my A-2 Leather Flight Jacket and aramis cologne are the essentials and distinctive items that I need through my long days. When you retire, expect to get busier than when you were working, at least that is the case for me.
