The Navy/Marines The Right Stuff Pilot’s Jackets- 3 of my Favorite Actors have been in some of the Greatest Movies, Like Bourne Identity
The three (3) of my all time favorite actors are- Scott Glenn, Ed Harris, and Dennis Quaid that played in the movie The Right Stuff (1983). Scott Glenn was also played in a great western movie Silverado (1985), Hunting for Red October (1990), and Bourne Ultimatum (2007) just to name a few movies. All of these guys played Navy/Marine Aviators in the movie The Right Stuff about the first U.S. Astronauts with NASA, The Mercury 7.

These guys wore the U.S. Navy G-1 issued Lambskin Flight Jacket. Scott Glenn who played Alan Shepherd in the Movie The Right Stuff was on an aircraft carrier where Jeff Goldlum, a NASA recruited, talked with Scott’s character (Alan Shepherd) about becoming an Astronaut with NASA Mercury Program. Alan Shepherd, was the only original Mercury Seven (7) Astronaut to walk on the Moon in Apollo 14 Moon Mission. Alan Shepherd also was the only Astronaut to hit a golf shot from off the moon surface.

The U.S. A-2 Leather Jacket has been a major part of our history (both military and civilian) since 1931 when the U.S. Army Air Corps developed and issued the leather flight jacket to pilots during World War II. In the photograph below, I’m 64 years old. This photograph was taken after we did a WINTER Photo shoot (18Jan22) for our line of US WINGS® Leather Jacket that I carry in our online store. We took advantage of an unseasonable warm January day in the mid-60’s to do this photo shoot. The camera crew challenged me to an AB Challenge where I’m posing without my shirt. I credit my DELPHI DIET & FITNESS System for my physical condition, and the condition of my skin.
