Why it’s Important to Know Beans about Beans- to Improve Your Health and Fitness with What is Considered ONE of the Perfect, Basic Foods
So Why it’s Important to Know Beans about Beans– If you ask a dietitian what are among the perfect foods to improve one’s health and fitness, they would point to two foods right off the bat, at least I would, and these are Sweet Potatoes and Pinto beans. Both of these foods are high in fiber and high in protein that are excellent for losing weight and lowering one’s numbers. Pinto beans are also a great source of Calcium, Vitamin A and C, Folate (Vitamin B9), Manganese, Copper, and Thiamine (Vitamin B1), along with Iron. An important nutrition component of beans is a mineral that doesn’t get the attention is should for healthy skin, and that is Copper.
Reading the first paragraph above, pay close attention to the menial Copper naturally contained in Pinto beans. This needs a closer examination. Here are a few details about Copper- coupled with collagen and elastin compound fortifies and tightens the skin. This process eliminates wrinkles and sagging skin. Copper combining with collagen and elastin with the production of Hyaluronic acid provides a healthier looking and smoother skin. This is like having an anti-aging component right in a can.
I credit my diet and appreciation for Pinto beans over the past 45- years that contains cooper with my healthy skin and my grandmother insistence on applying sunscreen. I worked outside majority of my career in the nature’s elements in bridge and transmission line work. Additional benefits of Pinto beans are that they contain amino acid (protein) to promote the natural production of collagen and antioxidants, which help to reduce the rise in blood sugar after a meal and reduce LDL cholesterol. If you are trying to improve your health and fitness, one of the best things you can do is reduce your sugar and starch intake. Beans offer the perfect substitute for our starch intake and are relatively inexpensive and available in a large assortment and verity that can be used in a number of dishes.
Beans are also the perfect side dish to complement a salad or even a steak dinner, in the place of starches, such as French Fries or baked potato. I have a bowl of beans with every meal (including lunch and dinner). The other main advantage of Pinto Beans as part of a meal is that they have a very low Weight Factor (2.903) and because they are high in protein and fiber. Beans, due to fiber, allow a person to feel satisfied longer, without concerns for weight gain or by eating late at night. Eating late at night is the absolutely the worst thing one can do for their overall health.
If there was one menu item that steakhouse restaurant needs to add, it is to add Pinto Beans to their menu of side dishes. Pinto Beans adds a great alternative to side dishes, such as, French fries or bake potatoes. These are high in starch content that is the leading cause of obesity and other health issues to numerous to list here. Pinto Beans offer a great health and nutritious side item especially with a jalapeno pepper and onion.
Pinto beans are simple to prepare with a sandwich, salad, or with almost any entrée. I even have a bowl of beans by themselves, shown in the feature image. Eating beans played a major part in my ability to lose 35- pounds within just 4- weeks and over 52- pounds within a nine- month period. But Beans, besides being an excellent source of fiber, protein, Copper, Calcium, Vitamin A, B(1and 9), and C, along with Iron, are also a great source for producing collagen. When you hear collagen, you often think skincare, but collagen is also great for bone, tendon, and joint health. The skin has the lion’s share of attention, indicating one’s state of health, remember that collagen is great source for bone and joint heath as well.
