THE QATSPY® Inside the Leather Sports Page- News Year’s Resolution: Top Four That You can Actually Achieve before Most Give UP On by February

Don’t be a statistic of not adhering to your New Years Resolution, but one you can accomplish before March at the latest!

Within two weeks, we will be celebrating The New Year and saying goodby finally to 2020. The top 4 New Year’s Resolutions are (1) Eating Healthy, (2) Fitness, (3) Save Money, (4) Learn something new. Several years ago, I wrote an article pointing to 12- Point Investment Plan to Significantly Change Your Health, Fitness, and Life. All of these top four New Year’s Resolutions were a part of those 12-points Lifestyle Changes article.

Let’s look at the first two Resolutions, Eating Healthy and Fitness. Just by finding a diet that works can actually provide you with an 80% chance of achieving your goal, before most people give up on their New Year’s Resolution by the end of February. We need to set ourselves up for success now, instead of failure before the New Year starts.

The only way to achieve your health and fitness goals is with NUTRITION. You can’t achieve your New Year’s Resolution just on fitness alone.

I developed both a successful NUTRITION and FITNESS programs by the ASCOT-925 DIET PLAN and my CASPER FITNESS PROGRAM. I’ll let you be the judge of my success in the featured photograph and the photograph below at age 63.

I’m in my home gym that I built last year and have enjoyed working out in four times a week. This photograph was taken in September of 2020 at age 63.

Most people approach improving their health and fitness by concentrating on their fitness component only. They spend three-to-four days a week working out in a gym or home gym with minimum results. What is discouraging about this fitness approach is that people only see minimum gains, with a lot of hard work. Fitness, while important for conditioning, only addresses 20% of your ability to achieve your New Year’s Resolution.

I strongly recommend, however, that you do set up a fitness regimen to follow at least three or four days a week. Your fitness regimen should consist of Cardio, Aerobic, Strength, and Pilates-type exercise regimen. Make your fitness regimen challenging, but enjoyable. I found out while in line work that safety had to be beneficial, convenient, and accessible in order to be followed, and the same is true with your health and fitness. I’m shown below working with my line crew. I’m in the middle on the double-channel crossarm.

I’m in the middle on the double-Channel Steel crossarm, that I designed. This photo was taken in July of 2012 two years before I retired. I was testing out a horizontal lifeline that I designed for our line crews to walk safely across the arm without getting into the approach distance of the conductor. This 115,000 Volt line is near the Tallahatchie River where Billy Joe MacAllister jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge, a song sung by Bobbie Gentry in March of 1967. By the way this line is energized, we are performing what is refer to as HOT LINE WORK.

Your fitness elements are to be performed just before you experience fatigue with each element. If that’s five reps for starters, then that is where you start from. But chart your progress, as it is important. In my CASPER FITNESS PROGRAM, I perform 10- Reps, with a 10- second Rest Period Interval between a 10- rep set. You will be surprised at the gain you will see in your fitness using this RPI between sets. I discuss this in all of my training videos.

NOW YOUR NUTRITION

Now let’s look at the 80% part of your health and fitness, your nutrition. I tried many diets over the past 30 years, resulting in failure. I happened to stumble on a very effective diet plan by happenstance in my mid-30’s. I had a job where I was working from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. After I got off work, I would ride my bicycle for an hour and eat before 5 p.m. I mainly ate high fiber and high protein to feel full and for energy, because I was building a house after hours.

I lost 30- pounds of weight and over six inches in my waistline. I was contributing to my exercises and building a house. After I finished the house and went to a work schedule of working four-tens, I gained weight, but I was still exercising. I gained about 45- pounds and over six-inches in my waist.

After I retired, I started my online apparel and sports training company. I was going to do both my own modeling and training videos, as noted above in the featured image and below in the training video. So I needed to lose some weight before I could start modeling and video tapping. So I looked back on my unsuspecting diet plan that I followed just by chance in my mid-30’s. The reason I called it my unsuspecting diet plan was that I thought it was riding my bicycle that allowed me to lose weight and inches. The unsuspecting diet that I developed became the ASCOT-925 DIET PLAN.

During the month of December of 2014, I lost 35- pounds and 4.75-inches in just one month. I achieved 75% of my goal in the month of December. By March when I started my modeling and my training videos, I lost 45- pounds and 6- inches in my waistline, which was my goal. But I wasn’t finished from December 01, 2014 when I started my ASCOT-925 DIET to September 05, 2015, I lost a total of 52- pounds and 8-inches in my waist. I have a thinner waist now at 29.75-inches than I had in high school of 32- inches.

The ASCOT-925 DIET PLAN will allow you to meet your New Year’s Resolutions even before others start to give up on their New Year Resolutions by mid February. You won’t just lose pounds and inches, but you’ll lose the effect of years on your skin, due to the high fiber and high protein diet that provides collagen and elasticity to your skin to defy wrinkles and age spots.

Learn Something NEW

Now Learning something NEW! After I retired I went by to a VO-TECH School and picked up welding. I would strongly recommend even if you have a college degree and job, to pick up on a Vocational Skill either for a hobby or for a second job opportunity, especially after you retire. It is the most fun that I have had. My is welding, yours can be something else.
