The History of The Old South– Chronicling the of Democratic Party History in The Old Dixie Oxford Blues South. From Slavery to Ms. Cox – Emmett Till- Medgar Evers- James Meredith-Mississippi State NCAA Basketball Championship Trip
I would like to present in chronicle order a summary in a brief format of the dark history from Slavery-to-Segregation and Antisemitic position of the Democratic Party. Especially when Biden stated that They want to put you back in chains. I would like to provide some clarity in this article to the term Biden used as THEY:
So who is THEY is the Question we must answer?
I Know that Sportswriters are held to a Higher Standards then our Mainstream Media are
Sportswriters could never get away with how the Democrats or their mainstream media are doing in covering politics, economy, crime, in our country, states, cities, and communities. Sports enthusiasts are too savvy in their analysis to let sports writers just offer their analysis and opinions without statistics and performances indicators to back up their articles. The Mainstream media DO NOT provide objective in their reporting, nor do they do their due diligence, in tracking down the FACTS and reporting the TRUTH.
Keep in mind that nothing occurred without the approval of the Democratic Party Machine structure established in each of the Blue States at the highest level. The media plays an important role in enabling this by proving propaganda coverage for the Democrats that is still going on even today for example with the suppression of the Hunter Biden Laptop, especially by the New York Times. Now the New York Times are irritated because Biden doesn’t give press conferences where he is pressed with questions.
Let me priviest my article by stating that I don’t usually get into politics; but lean more toward sports, health, fitness, and history. I use what history teaches us from past civilization and cultures to avoid what they faced in their demise. America has been the best avenue for Liberty, Freedom, and the pursuit of one’s dreams that has ever existed. I want to preserve this avenue for future generations, but the Democratic Party is obstructing U.S., especial with Trans issues that guts TITLE IX.
Right now we are in jeopardy of losing what many people have sacrificed in sweat, tears, and blood to establish our rights. We are about to celebrate Memorial Day next month and Juneteenth in June when Slaves learn that they were emancipated on June 19th, 1866.
This is not the only time that Democrats have remained Silent in supporting freedom, Liberty, and Security of our nation. Democrats did not condemn the 2020 riots, nor have they condemned the Antisemitism on the college campuses.
President Abraham Lincoln signed his death warrant when he signed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1st, 1863. This was two- years before the Civil War ended on April 9th, 1865. President Abraham Lincoln paid with his life on April 15th, 1865 for his proclamation. He was shot in the back of the head by John Wilkes Booth, a Democrat Southern sympathizer.
Period of Slavery
There are a lot of discussions concerning slavery where it took the courage of an Abolitionist party lead by Abraham Lincoln to condemn slavery in all of its forms.
After the Civil War was fought to end slavery and to reunify the United States, Abraham Lincoln and Grant helped develop the program known as Reconstruction. Reconstruction wasn’t a program to just to rebuild infrastructure of the South only, but rebuild people’s lives, especially the lives of former slaves. The Democrats tactics hadn’t changed since Slavery when 11- States succeeded from the Union, between 1860-1861, then and NOW! Democrats are still trying to divide our nation.
All these 11- States that succeeded from the Union were controlled by the Democratic Party at all levels of Government from the local level to the National Level up to the Civil War, during the Civil War and up through the early 70’s.

April 12th, 1861 Fort Sumter was attacked by the South

A Period of Reconstruction
Reconstruction gave African-Americans the best chance and hope that they needed to be prosperous in a country that they helped build that could only be described as a renaissance in American History for a period of 12-years (1865 – 1877). Pay close attention to the year of 1877. The only reason Reconstruction lasted for these 12-years was because Grant left the office of President in 1877 and the Southern Democrats vehemently opposed the occupation of Union Solders to enforce Reconstruction proposed by President Abraham Lincoln/Grant.
What was impressive during these 12- years of Reconstruction, was the sheer number of African Americans that held political office as Republicans, like Jeremiah Haralson from Alabama, started businesses, and made advancements during this period Reconstruction.
The Real White Supremacist
Democrats points to others and accuse them of White Supremacy that Democrats themselves instituted with Slavery, Jim Crow Laws, and later with Segregation (ref to Romans 2:3). History shows that White Supremacy goes back even before the 11- Democratic Southern States seceded from the Union that were designated as Slave States. It goes back to the drafting of our U.S. Constitution with the numberization clause that the southern colonies wanted. The Colonist just kick the can down the road in order to get Southerns to buy in to signing the Constitution that kept slavery.
So how can Democrats and the mainstream media get Democrats’ history so wrong in regard to Slavery and Segregation even by a President of the United States, Biden who was friends with Senator Robert Byrd, a KKK Grand Wizard.
Democrats’ Jim Crow Law and Colfax Massacre
After Reconstruction ended in 1877, when Union troops withdrew from the Southern States, Democrats simply substituted Slavery with Segregation after Reconstruction ended. Democrats under Jim Crow Laws restricted the African-Americans’ access to education, business opportunities, social interactions, financing, and voting.
The real setback for African-Americans was the Colfax Massacre that occurred in New Orleans and in Memphis in 1873. Colfax Massacre was led by White Supremacist Democrats, who were known as the Ku Klux Klan.
Democrats’ Segregationist
Segregation continued from 1877 and in 1957 when Little Rock Central High was integrated after the Supreme Court Order. Then Republican President Eisenhower used the 101st Airborne to enforce the desegregation order at Little Rock Central High. I was raised in Arkansas and now live in Mississippi where I had a front role seat to the Democrats racial policies. Segregation that was imposed by Democrats was used to control African-Americans in the South where Democrats simply replaced slavery with segregation that continued for 80- years rule after Reconstruction had ended in 1877.
The main reason that segregation was and is still a part of the Democrats playbook is that Democrats still oppose and fear that African-Americans will make strives as individuals and Democrats were lose their influence. Democrats’ fear is that collaborations between people and freedom of association of different ethic backgrounds. This would allow for normalization and lead to the basic understanding between people that we all have the same desire and dreams for ourselves and for our families for Safety, Liberty, Freedom, and prosperity.
Sports played a major role in breaking down barriers erected by Jim Crow Laws instituted by the Democratic Party.
We as Americans have more in common in our expectations of safety, opportunity, liberty, and freedoms than we do in our differences. Just attend a sporting event and you will see this special bond form between people that 15- minutes earlier didn’t even know each other; now are sharing in supporting sports and their team. This collaboration and normalization will dismantle the Democratic Party’s POWER BASE and its grip on an election base they have neglected and underserved the Black community for decades and now are in fear of losing their influence.
Poster Boys of White Supremacist are Democrats
The four (4) Poster Boys of White Supremacist and they ARE NOT Republicans like Democrats have you believe, just follow the history of the Democratic Party- I give you Senator Robert Byrd, a close formal friend of Biden, Governor Oval Faubus of Arkansas, Governor Ross Barnett of Mississippi, and Governor George Wallace of Alabama. The Senator and all of these three (3) Governors had something in common with each other, they all had a (D) in front of their names.
Republican Jeremiah Haralson from Selma, Alabama, a Great Example
During Reconstruction there was a significant number of African- Americans that held political office under the classification of Republicans. Jeremiah Haralson, a Republican, was among the first African American to serve as a Republican in the Alabama State Representative and Senator from Dallas Country, Alabama. Jeremiah Haralson was a self-taught (referred to as an autodidact) similar to that of President Abraham Lincoln.
Booker T. Washington Visit to the White House
16Oct1901, President Theodor Roosevelt invited Booker T. Washington from the Tuskegee Institute to the White House to have dinner with him. At the time, Booker T. Washington taught at Tuskegee Institute that later would be the training facility for the first African-American Pilots for World War II.
Booker T. Washington had to be smuggled out of Alabama because of the media press bias toward African-Americans. Little has changed with our media even today, they still carry the water for their Democrats Masters.
Ms. Minnie Cox’s Story
I have been to Indianola, Mississippi as a grid engineer in Mississippi where an industrious African-American business lady, Ms. Minnie Cox, was a Postmaster in 1902. The aristocratic left took exception to her status and success to a point that they threatened her because she didn’t fit in their caste system to a point where she had to leave town for fear of her life. Republican President Theodor Roosevelt responded to the locals threats by moving the Indianola Post Office to Greenville, Mississippi and continued to pay Ms. Cox. What was more surprising was Ms. Cox financially help white residence of Indianola, Mississippi.
Money Mississippi and Emmett Till Story
I have been to Money, Mississippi grocery store where Emmet Till in the summer of 1955 was murder for allegedly whistling at Carolyn Bryant, the owner’s wife. Understand that the Democrat Machine controlled every aspect of government life back then, both on a state and local level, this murder of Emmett Till didn’t happen without a wink and a nod from leadership in Mississippi at that time that was Democrat control.
James Meredith Ole Miss Story
I have been to Oxford, Mississippi covering sports where in September 1962 James Meredith attended University of Mississippi under guard that then Democrat Governor Ross Barnett objected to Meredith being admitted into Ole Miss. I met Mr. James Meredith, also a Republican. He also holds a degree in Law from Columbia University. If I knew James Meredith, he wouldn’t be proud of the Anti-Antisemitism on the compass of Columbia. But this is part of the Democratic Playbook.
The Assassination of Medgar Wiley Evers
On June 12th, 1963, Byron De La Beckwith, Jr. a Democrat member of the KKK from Greenwood, Mississippi used a 1917 Enfield Rifle to assassinate Medgar Wiley Evers at his home in Jackson, Mississippi after a rally Medgar attended. Medgar Evers was the first Mississippi field Secretary for the NAACP that helped advance Civil Rights in the south like in the case of James Meredith being enrolled at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). Medgar Evers in 1955 also assisted in the investigation of Emmet Till’s lynching where Emmet Till was abducted in Money, Mississippi. Money, Mississippi is a small town just north of Greenwood, Mississippi on U.S. Highway 61.
The Democrat Party’s used their strong arm thugs tactics of their KKK squads that operated with impunity in the south suppressing any and all efforts to integrate the Democrat controlled South.
Mississippi State Basketball Team
I have been to Starkville, Mississippi also to cover sports where a courageous Coach Babe McCarthy, head Basketball Coach for Mississippi State University, left Starkville under the cover of night to go to East Lansing Michigan to play Loyola in the 1963 NCAA Basketball tournament. Loyola was an integrated basketball team; Democrat Governor Ross Barnett opposed and forbid the MSU team from traveling to and playing in the NCAA Tournament due to the integration issue of Loyola University.
Philadelphia, Mississippi Civil Rights Workers
21Jun1964, James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwemer were found dead (shot) and their bodies burned in Neshoba County, Mississippi. It was discovered that the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office and Philadelphia Police Department were directly involved in the murders that implicated 18 other people. One was Edgar Ray Killen, the mastermind with the White Knights of the KKK. All of these persons had direct ties to the Democratic Party. Murders of this magnitude don’t take place without knowledge of the political leadership of that day.
Edgar Ray Killen was tried again in 12Jan2005 for masterminding the murders of the Civil Rights Workers. Transcripts from the original case were read in court before a jury that found Edgar Ray Killen guilty of the murders of the three Civil Rights workers. Edgar Ray Killen died in prison.
We still have one holdover Democrat here in Mississippi that has done nothing to help advance the economic status of Blacks that the Republicans have provided with opportunity. His name is Representative Bennie Thompson. During the 2011 Mississippi River Flood where a large part of the Delta farmland was flooded from the Mississippi River backing up into the farmland. Our two Senators along with our Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson tried to get pumps approved.
The entire Delta is in Bennie’s 2nd District area where Bennie was a NO SHOW! Also the Black Delta Farmers are being hit the hardest with high Diesel and fertilizer prices that is a financial hardship for all farmers. Bennie has done nothing to help these farmers and especially the Black Farmers. Agriculture equipment doesn’t run on a couple of “D” size batteries, this equipment runs on Diesel fuel.
So inclusion, the answer to the question to who THEY were in the statement made by Biden is THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY based on historical FACTS!
