A perfect Summertime Salad that is also a fat burner for a flatter stomach during the Summer months.

Banana & Strawberry Salad 4 Flatter ABS– I posted Our Popular Banana & Strawberry Salad that we had in Our Deli that can Burn Belly Fat  

As I stated in my previous post on Tuesday (July 12, 2022), how I altered the original recipe of the fruit salad that we served in our deli by swapping out sour cream with yogurt and eliminating coconut flakes. Both of these have high Health Index numbers with sour cream coming in at 17.14 and coconut Health Index at 8.75. Where as, bananas have a Health Index of 2.59, that have a calories count of (105) and are also high in fiber (3g) that helps to burn the belly fat for a flatter stomach that is the most difficult objective to achieve in a diet and fitness program.

The indigestible fiber in bananas offset their calories that perform an important function in your digestion process, bananas resistant starch and blocks carbohydrates from being absorbed by the body. This proves that all calories aren’t processed in the same manner by our bodies. Bananas are also a great source for Potassium for heart health and healthier blood pressure levels. I have posted my blood pressure that I took last night, below. I don’t take any medication of any type or kind at age 65.

Strawberry has a Health Index of 2.27 based on their high fiber (3g) count, as well. Strawberries regulate digestion by allowing our blood stream to absorb sugar (fructose) that helps to control type 2 diabetes. Strawberries also burns fat to aid in weight loss and helps in obtaining a flatter stomach. If there is one main gauge of one’s health and fitness it is your waistline with a close second being the health of our skin.

So What is the Health Index (HI) Factor?

The Health Index (HI) Factor helps to identify foods that are high in protein, fiber, and Omega-3 fats that turn your body into a turbocharging calories-burning juggernaut. The HI makes reaching your healthy weight and waistline easier without having to rely solely on your exercise program, because you won’t get there by just exercising only. You can’t out work or outrun your diet in the gym, believe me I tried and it doesn’t work that way. Your diet accounts for 80 percent of losing weight with 20 percent due to your exercise and lifestyle.

Can you imagine going on a 100 mile trip and your vehicle only traveling 20 miles of your journey. That is what your asking of your fitness program to do for you in your weight lost efforts to take you to your objective.

You use the standard Nutrition Label on food products to determine the HI Factor, or off restaurants websites, you can find foods that are at or below a HI of 3.25 that allows your body to burn fat at a higher rate more effectively. The results of eating meals at or below a HI of 3.25 allow you to lose weight and inches. I started my DELPHI DIET & CAST FITNESS in December 2014. From the chart below, I lost 6.00 inches within just 3- months, or 39.2- pounds by February of 2015. By September of 2015, I lost 9.25- inches in my waistline, for a total of 52- pounds.

This photo was taken after we did the TOP GUN:MAVERICK Photoshoot featuring our TOP GUN:MAVERICK Collection. I had a fellow photographer do the photoshoot where I could appear with my models. I did this one for my NEW Book: THE DELPHI DIET & CAST FITNESS System.

As noted in the above and below photographs at age 65, I didn’t just drop weight and inches for a flatter stomach, I also dropped about 35- years off the age of my skin that I wasn’t expecting when I started my diet and fitness program. This was due to the high protein, fiber, and Omega-3 diet that I had been following. But there was one other BIG factor that Tyrus (George) Murdoch mentioned on the Greg Gutfeld Show on July 8th, 2022, that was WHEN, NOT TO EAT past 5 p.m. There are several reasons that you DO NOT WANT TO EAT PAST 5 p.m. losing weight is just one of many reasons.

My Purpose for Losing Weight

My purpose for losing the inches and weight was because I was starting a sports performance and apparel company in June of 2015 where I was producing golf and fitness training videos. In addition to the training videos, I was taking one of the biggest challenge to one’s health and fitness status, I was modeling our apparel that consist of the authentic U.S. Military Issued Flight Jackets with young models in their 20’s. As much as I enjoy having a photoshoot done with beautiful young ladies, it was an equal challenge to one’s health and fitness, that also include the healthy look of my skin.

If you’ve ever been in front of a camera lens then viewed the photo taken, you know how scrutinizing the lens can be, even a mirror can render this type of scrutiny. A flat stomach is a must for a quality photoshoot to have your clothes look fashionable, fitted, and feel as good as how you look. There are several diets and fitness programs that will allow you to lose weight and inches. But of those diets, how many stand the true test TIME of a diet and fitness program? The AB Challenge, especially at age 65, with a profile shot that was taken on Saturday, July 02, 2022 in my GYM.

What is unique about this boxing bag workout shot is that your abdominal muscles actually flexes outward when delivering a blow to the 80- Lb. boxing bag that actually feels like 100- Lbs. because my boxing bag is tethered by bungee cords to the floor.

             

Improve Your Profile

I had the same fellow photographer that took the photoshoot for our TOP GUN:MAVERICK Collection, called me on Saturday morning, on July 02, 2022, who had a client that needed a photoshoot of a person that was fit working out on a boxing bag. She knew that I had a GYM with a boxing bag where I work out six (6)- days per week and wondered if she could do a photoshoot for her. The only stipulation that I requested was that I could use the photograph and that she do the photoshoot in the morning while it was cool in my GYM. My GYM is in the attic space above my golf training facility and photo studio and the GYM IS NOT air-conditioned on purpose. This provides a conditioning component to my workout sessions, temperatures can reach upwards of 118 degree Fahrenheit. I found sweating-it-out provides the next best thing to WHEN and WHAT I ate, a diet high in protein, fiber, and Omega-3 fats.

I know that in the beach scene in TOP GUN:MAVERICK, the Director, Joseph Kosinski, shot this scene twice; because there wasn’t enough sweating in the first take. But in my case, I can sweat profusely and I would have been drenched in sweat. I can even think about working out and start sweating. The photoshoot of me in my GYM is a profile shot that is one of more critical photoshoots to do, because it reveals your profile fitness of the stomach, especially at age 65. And when you’re throwing blows into a punching bag your abdominal muscles are flexes outward. This is why the Boxing Bag workout is a full body workout. I do three- (3) minutes rounds during my average workout sessions with a minute rest period for water. STAY HYDRATED during your workouts!
