A Fight for Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Healthy– Boxing Bag Workout is One of the Best Full-Body Cardio-Aerobic Workout for Health/Fitness
A major part of my DELPHI DIET & CAST FITNESS System at age 65 is working out in my home gym with a 80 LBS boxing bag with 14 oz. boxing gloves. I have three (3), three minute rounds, with a 1 minute break for water break between each round. Believe me this is all of a bag workout you want along with my CAST Fitness. CAST- (Cardio-Aerobic, Strength Training). The boxing bag workout is more than just a physical cardio-aerobic workout; boxing also benefits our mental neuromuscular health and cognitive function, especially people over the age of 50.
Maintaining one’s balance, reflexes, stability, stamina, and dexterity are critical for people of all ages, but especially for those over the age of 50. Falling due to losing dexterity, stamina, and balance are major problems for people’s ability to enjoy their lifestyle. Boxing is even used by an organization called ‘Rock Steady’ as therapy to treat patients with Parkinson’s disease. We all need to pay close attention to what is being used to treat Parkinson’s, because these are exercises that we all can benefit from, regardless of age.
Boxing, besides being great for our fitness, also develops and maintains our dexterity and stamina that is important for our cognitive function, such as for neuromuscular command and control. When I state that a boxing bag workout is a full-body workout, I also include the mind, as well. I call boxing bag workout my active meditation for reducing stress. After a workout, I feel mentally relaxed and rejuvenated. In the feature image, above, I’m 65 years old and feel as if I was in my mid 30’s.

If you want to feel and look younger and get rid of those bags and sags, put on the gloves and hit the bag for a great cardio-aerobic workout to burn calories, tone muscles, and tone the skin. My diet and fitness, that includes boxing, has allowed me to model our sportswear with young ladies that work with us in their early 20’s, as shown in a photoshoot above.
