Reach the Quarter Point with a Reward– How to use 2 Incentives to Reach 2 of Your New Year’s Resolution: LOSE WEIGHT/GET into BETTER SHAPE! One Incentive is metrics to measure your waistline and the other incentive is reward yourself
A successful DIET is one that has incentives in the form of metrics and rewards to help you reach two of your New Year’s Resolutions. More than likely, those were to lose weight and to get into better shape.
This coming Saturday (27Jan2024) will mark the Quarter Point of a 16- week schedule that I hope that you established for yourself to lose weight and get into better shape. I call it minding your Q’s and P’s. This is the Quarter Point of a 16- week schedule that you might have set to lose quarter of your weight and get into better shape by 22Arp2024.
Just remember that as important as your workout program is to you for your resolutions, your diet will account for 80% of you reaching your New Year’s Resolutions to lose weight and to get into better shape by April of 2024. The best approach to your two New Year’s Resolution is to use your diet to lose weight and use your fitness workout to get into better shape with strength and conditioning to firm up and look younger. You can actually look younger with a simple strength training program.
Guys and Gals, as you are approaching the Quarter Point of a 16- week quest to lose weight and get into better shape. Use incentives to continue and maintain your success. Reward yourself with a small treat to incentivize yourself to continue your success. In sports, there’s nothing like the first win to motivate you and reward yourself for all the hard work that you have put in by conditioning and training.
In my SATURDAY’S SPORTS PAGE for LIFE for 27Jan2024 issue, I will explain how I use a small treat to reward myself for reaching my first QP objective to lose and maintain my health and fitness now going on 9- years at age 66. Now, since I have achieve my health and fitness objectives, I reward myself on a weekly basis if I maintain my weight and fitness each Sunday, by measuring my waistline.

Below is my actual waistline chart that I used to monitor my weight loss where I recorded losing 40- Lbs and over 6.50 inches in 16- weeks, by 31Mar2015. Remember, if you can’t measure IT you can’t achieve IT!
