Why Your New Year’s Resolution Should be Keeping Your Blood Pressure Number Low- by Following a Healthy Diet, Exercise, & Lifestyle Changes
If you’ve ever had a good reason to turn in good Blood Pressure Numbers, it is NOW, especially with the statistical data coming in from hospitalizations/death from COVID-19; and all its variations. Look at the top five causes from people having to be hospitalized and dying from COVID-19. It will surprise you that obesity wasn’t the top cause, even though it contributes to high blood pressure.

Keep in mind that you can be within your healthy weight range and still have high blood pressure.
In addition to measuring your waistline and weighing yourself weekly, take your blood pressure weekly, if not daily, as well. A wrist or arm pressure cuff can be purchased at your local drugstore or Walmart. Believe me, it will be the best money you’ll ever spend on your health and fitness.
Below is my normal blood pressure that I take every night. I’m 64 years old and soon to be 65, and I turn in numbers like this, without taking any prescribed medication of any kind. I believe that if you can give your body the right nutrition and exercise to function as it was designed, you can rely on your body to function within normal numbers.
