The Objectives of EVER-FIT for EVER-LAST – EVER-LAST is the Ability to Enjoy an Independent Lifestyle and Fitness during Our Entire LIFE
Among some of the most important habits that we can establish during the early stages of our lives, especially pre-teenage years, is an effective fitness regimen. Maintaining your health and fitness has lasting benefits especially into our 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and even into our 90’s. What you do NOW can have an EVER-LASTING on you later years. Believe me, I’m proof of this in the photograph below, I’m 63 years old.
You might have heard people state- That if I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself and my health.
This isn’t just focused on our internal health like maintaining a healthy weight, blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels. But just as important healthy looking skin. Our fitness is also important in maintaining a healthy skeletal and muscle systems, but just as essential is maintaining a healthy looking skin.
Following a diet and fitness routine even as early as our pre-teens years, allows our bodies to produce collagen, an important component to maintain healthy skin, but also important for maintaining healthy muscle tissue and joints. Believe me, your muscle and joint health are as important as your heart health. Because if you can’t exercise due to painful muscles or joints you can’t have a healthy heart.
As we age we will experience muscle and joint soreness and stiffness to some degree, but this soreness and stiffness can be reduced with ever-last-fitness as we age. Ever-last-fitness produce an essential component for our health, that is collagen. Collagen repairs both tissue and joints.
Besides fitness having an impact on the production of collagen, diets such as foods high in protein, fiber, and copper have just as much impact on the production of collagen. Beans are a great source of protein, fiber, and copper. That’s why following a healthy diet is just as essential to our health as following a fitness program. Besides dropping weight, you will also drop years off the appearance of your skin.
Another Effect of Aging
I still work with heavy equipment that can have a negative impact on my muscles and joints in the form of stiffness, especially with my calves and numbness in my feet. Most heavy equipment doesn’t have shock absorbers so your lower back becomes your shock absorber that indirectly impacts the sciatic nerve that goes down into the calf muscles.
If you watch college or professional football, you’ll see players wearing bands above their arms and/or calf muscles. Without going into a lot of detail, what this does, the bands restricts blood flow to these particular muscles reducing the effects of lactic acid build up. Lactic acid causes soreness and stiffness in muscles and even numbness in the feet. What I refer to as banding, shown below, also improves recovery time.
I have also included Magnesium supplement into my daily regimen to reduce the soreness and stiffness in my calf muscles and numbness in my feet. Magnesium helps support nerve, muscles, and heart health.
Along with Banding and Magnesium supplement, we also include an AB Roller and Squats in THE ASCOT- DIET & FITNESS Program daily workout.
It seems like squeezing the calf muscles helps eliminate the effects of lactic acid build up. During my AB Roller element, I make sure that I push my glute muscles back toward my heels. These two exercises have greatly reduced my soreness and stiffness in my calves and numbness in my feet. Another relief exercise you can do during the day is to squat as low as you possibly can go while holding on to something like a desk. This squeezes the lactic acid out of the calf muscles, especially while sitting.
Acidophilus for Allergy Surfers I also take Acidophilus, I used to have chronic allergies before I started taking Acidophilus. If you recall, milk producers put Acidophilus in their milk where people that are allergic to milk could drink milk for its benefits.
