One of the best disinfectants that you can use is still sunshine and the fresh air of nature, with walks and bike rides. I have read research that states that sunshine and fresh air are your best disinfectants, especially for medical staff who are working on the frontlines. We can’t thank you enough for putting your life and emotions on the line for us. The work that you’re doing is nothing short of a frontline soldier in a war.
Regardless of how inconsequential you might think being out in nature is during this Pandemic, it is still important to get outdoors. Sunshine and fresh air are not only great disinfectants, but sun is an important source of vitamin D. The UV rays also kills viruses and bacteria. I take walks with my best friend and just enjoy my Chrysler Imperial antique roses. I have over 50 rose bushes that line my walking path that I enjoy.
This spring, during your downtime, order some antique roses from one of the best sources, the Rose Emporium. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, you can raise beautiful roses that require minimum maintenance, attention, and are hardy. They just require pruning once a year. The best way that I have found to prune roses is with a hedger that is fast and easy.
Protecting Yourself from Contamination
One of the best means of protecting yourself from contamination of the COVID-19 virus besides washing your hands and getting your hands away from your face is to replace your sports jacket with a leather flight jacket.
