At the end of this article is information on how you can provide a barrier against the COVID-19 that doesn’t get the consideration that it should, and that is our clothing. I’m providing information on a healthier alternative.

Objective of this article: I’m using the conditions in two of our hot spots, New York and New Orleans, dealing with COVID-19 Pandemic to support and highlight the significance of maintaining our health and fitness as a nation.

As the data will show, people with underlying conditions have the highest death rate. If we as a nation were healthier, we could have avoided a severe shutdown of our nation and economy. Those in the older age groups need to remain sheltered and majority of those that are affected by COVID-19 could recover at home, instead of the hospital, much like any flu season. Because we also have health issues in the younger age groups, we are having to shut down our nation. We could had followed the Sweden Model. Below is the breakdown of New York Cases:

COVID-19 Exposes the Weakness of Our Natural Defense System Against Infections and Diseases, Lack of Fitness and Nutrition

The COVID-19 Pandemic has highlighted why maintaining our health through nutrition and fitness is important to our natural defense of fighting off infections. Analysis from patients who have contracted the COVID-19 has revealed ONE thing, we all need to become fit and healthier that would help our immune systems in fighting the COVID-19 virus. Our health is tied directly to our ability to follow a healthy Nutrition, Fitness, and Lifestyle regimen. Data coming out of New Orleans is startling, to say the least.

An article from Reuters just yesterday tells the grim story of our health situation that plays an important role in confronting a pandemic and can lessen our ability to fight off or even survive this virus. The death rate in New Orleans, based on death rate per population count, is double that of the other hot spot of New York City, Data below is as of April 02, 2020

Population of New York City is 8,398,748        

Deaths 1,562

Death/population ratio: 1.86 E-4

Population of New Orleans is 393,292

Deaths 125

Death/population ratio: 3.18 E-4

How the Data Breaks Down for New Orleans

The main contributing factors for 95% of the deaths from COVID-19 are obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. The major part of these conditions could be controlled with proper diet and fitness. Now in the National Post, these deaths are broken down by specific causes:

  • 35% due to Diabetes
  • 25% due to obesity
  • 20% chronic kidney disease
  • 20% cardiac issues

One other contributing factor for high cases in both of these cities is the influx of people coming into/out of both of these cities, besides just the population of each city. New York is an International city, and New Orleans is a tourist destination as well, with Mardi Gras that took place on February 25.

Take Advantage NOW of the Time We are at Home

I have put together a few of the basic exercise equipment items that we have at home now that will help you set up a Home Gym. These are basic items in my Home Gym that can be supplemented with other items, since in most cities and states we are instructed to stay at home, except for essential travel to the grocery store, medical attention, and banks, since small businesses have to seek financial assistance. This is all the exercise equipment that I have in my Home Gym to perform my CASPER Fitness Program 6 times per week. And yes that is a punching bag with boxing gloves for a total aerobic body workout.

Also notice that I have attached a bungee cord to my punching bag to provide a more effective boxing bag workout. This YouTube Video was produced in my Home Gym. Just a hint, instead of timing each element in your workout with a watch, use songs, most songs are 3.75 minutes in length unless you listen to Grand Funk Railroad song- I’m Your Captain, than that’s 10.01 minutes. I don’t think many people wants to do 150 lbs bench presses for 10- minutes.

If you are starting a fitness routine at least 4 to six times per week for 30 to 60 minutes per day, your attention needs to also turn toward nutrition, which accounts for 80 percent of your ability to lose inches and weight. I have attached for FREE a PDF Download of my Kosher 925-MET Diet that you can get from my Website or select below. This diet program allowed me to lose 6- inches in my waist within 3- months and a total of 8.5- inches, or 52- lbs. within 9- months. I used my background in analytics to formulate a Weight Factor that I use to evaluate food that I consume during a 8-hour period.

The 8-Hour Diet is just a small piece, about 20% of your ability to lose weight and become healthier. The other 80% is the the Weight Factor that I developed just using Nutrition Labels on the back of foods, or off restaurant’s E-menus that you can access from your I-Phone. The Weight Factor component turbocharged my diet program.

Below is the example of the data you will need to refer to for determining the Weight Factor for certain foods. Just for your information the perfect Foods that you can include in your diet is Pinto Beans and Sweet Potatoes.

If that’s not good enough news for YOU, I have kept the weight off now, going on for 6- years. The main reason besides improving my health, which is essential, but not motivating enough for most people. Just wanting to lose weight isn’t going to motivate you. You need a PURPOSE like I formulated,

I do my own golf and fitness training YouTube videos that are on my website that I have also posted in this article. If you want motivation, YOU need to take your I-Phone and video tape yourself while making a presentation or demonstrating of a topic just for your review ONLY. After you watch the Video, You’ll have all the motivation and purpose you need to get healthier and fit. Believe me its an awakening experience. This provided me enough motivation to lose my weight, all 52- lbs. of IT.

Protection Provided and Care of Our A-2 Leather Jackets

Cleaning– Take one teaspoon of dish detergent and dilute it in 8 oz. of water. Take a cloth that you can wash afterwards, and dip it in the dishwater solution and simply wipe down the exterior of the leather flight jacket daily or as needed.

Then, take our leather conditioner to condition your leather jacket annually, or when you see the leather drying, or becoming worn by simply applying our conditioners below.

To freshen up and eliminate most viruses and bacteria from your leather jacket or even your sports jacket, hang it out in the sun for 2 to 3 hours.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: DO NOT spray or wipe down your leather jacket with Lysol, disinfectant, or especially alcohol. This will damage the leather on your jacket.
