So How Do We Honor Those that Gave the Last Full Measure– I Served with Heroes that Sacrificed Everything for US for our Freedoms&Liberties. Flying our Flag that they fought for, Maintain an Active Lifestyle with Health & Fitness is How.
We sacrifice our time, our strength, and our efforts to develop our talents to earn a living for our families where they can have a life with opportunities. One reason that I maintain my health, fitness and an active lifestyle even at age 66 is to honor those that sacrifice their life to allow us to have the opportunity to enjoy the blessings of Freedom, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness.
I fly my flag, enjoy welding in my shop, working on my farm, and writing articles covering the benefits of Health, Fitness and Sports where these heroes didn’t make their sacrifice in vain. If I didn’t do this, I wouldn’t be living up to the expectation that I had with one of these Heroes during our high school years.
If I didn’t live this type of lifestyle of being active, it would be like having the skills to improve someone’s life and not taking that opportunity to help others. This Memorial Day I honor all those men and women whose names are engraved in stone and in marble that are at peace knowing they gave their very best for US. One particular Hero that I had the pressure to serve with, I remember each and every day of my life.
