The Diet Part of THE MELIORA Health & Fitness Program

DIET– Part of MELIORA is based on Circadian Rhythms of eating between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. for WHEN to eat. The WHAT to eat is based on using nutrition labels to select certain foods to turn your body into a Calorie-Burning Juggernaut in order to metabolize your food and any excess fat you may have for energy.

Pinto Beans along with sweet potatoes are consider your perfect foods with low MAC scores.

The MELIORA Diet consists of selecting nutrition labels on foods that are high in Protein, Fiber, Omega-3 Fats, Probiotic, Antioxidants, with complex Carbs.

 

The Fitness Part of THE MELIORA Health & Fitness Program

FITNESS– Part of MELIORA is based on Cardio-Aerobic Strength Training program to strengthen and firm up your body. This fitness program uses your strength and conditioning of your muscle to naturally release hormones to provide collagen to your joints and skin that is younger and healthier looking.

The diet and fitness parts of THE MELIORA Health & Fitness Program actually allow you to look and feel younger not just by years, but actually by decades.

Your best fountain of youth is eating between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and selecting foods with a MAC score equal to or less than 3.25 based on nine (9) simple data points from the nutrition labels on food items in grocery stores and off restaurant menus, as noted above.

The one item that isn’t listed on the nutrition label is your culprit, your simple carbs and starches, that sabotages your diet and fitness efforts. If you wonder why you can drop weight and inches off and keep weight and inches off, this is your issue. The foods that have MAC score above 3.25 identifies foods that contain your culprit, what I call the hidden sugars.

Just to test this, compare what is considered the perfect food, sweet potato with a MAC score of 2.78, with the less healthy choice of a Idaho Potato with a MAC score of 3.438.

If you were just comparing the sugar content between a sweet potato of 4 grams with the sugar content of the Idaho Potato of 1 grams; you would think the Idaho Potato was a healthier choice. But you would be WRONG! Even the Sugar Buster Diet states the sweet potato is your healthier choice.

Your Healthy Waistline and Approximate BMI

To determine your healthy waistline just take your height in inches and just divide by 2.

For Example: If you were average height of 5 ft. – 8 in. or 68- inches your healthy waistline should be 68/2 = 34- inches.

Because I model my SPORTY Cockpit Apparel & Gear and the camera adds up to 10 Lbs onto you, I use the 2.2 as my denominator, or 64/2.2 = 29.09 inches. One thing about my height of 5 ft. – 4 in. I wasn’t recruited by colleges for their basketball teams.

THE MELIORA Diet is based on developing a diet that you can easily manage and control simply by deciphering nutrition labels, staying within your circadian rhythms, following a fitness program, and maintaining an active lifestyle. This allows you to drop weight, inches, and years off in weeks, instead of months, even over the age of 65. Even at age 67.

Deciphering nutrition labels is actually easier and effective than what you may think. Being able to decipher nutrition labels allows you to break the code and make sense of the data on the nutrition label into a single value. You are able to read nutrition labels on food items in grocery stores and off restaurant menus in order to detect your major culprit to dropping weight, inches, and your health numbers. This culprit is those hidden sugars that include simple starches that aren’t listed on the nutrition data that prevent your body from maintaining a healthy weight and age-defying appearance.

 

The entire premise of THE MELIORA DIET is to decipher nutrition labels and select foods at or below the Metabolic Analytics Code (MAC) and eat based on the body’s circadian rhythms. This will allow your body to burn calories for energy instead of storing food as fat. This will allow you to drop those unwanted pounds and inches.

         

The other 20- percent of maintaining your health consist of your fitness and maintaining an active lifestyle. Deciphering nutrition labels provides you the ability to use nutrition labels to drop weight, inches, and drop years off your appearance. Now even at age 67, I have the health and fitness that I had in my mid-30’s.

    

Your truest test of a successful diet and fitness program ISN’T in the mirror, but photographs and maintaining healthy blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol readings. You want those clothes you see on models and in ads to look as good on you at home as they did in those ads and on models.

There isn’t a more critical critique of your health and fitness than your annual physicals and in your photographs. I’m all too aware of both of these based on my recent physical exam and photoshoots that I do modeling our aviation sports performance apparel that I do over the age of 65.

Below are my recent physical exam numbers that I had on August 30th, 2023 over the age of 66 without being on any prescribe medication:

Blood pressure- 116/67

Blood Glucose- 109 (Non Fasting)

Total Cholesterol- 158

Waistline- 28.50″

Weight- 148 Lbs.

BMI- 18.75

Probably one of the most critical critiques of a person’s health and fitness besides their physical examination results and photographs is an AB Challenge. Especially an AB Challenge taken over the age of 65 that I did on July 18th, 2024 in our hangar after a photoshoot for our fall SPORTY Cockpit collection, shown below and on the front cover of my book.
