Roses are one of my passions that I developed from my grandmother, they represent the simple things of life that we must ground ourselves in to be able to reflect God’s nature to others. Like roses, you can impact other lives positively or negatively, Let’s make a better life for everyone. Be that positive FORCE! This is a picture of roses in my rose bed. I have morning coffee looking at these everyday.

Health/Fitness is Mental+Physical+Spiritual– COVID Pandemic has taken Tremendous toll on our Mental, Physical, & Spiritual Health/Fitness

I expect that there would be a tremendous toll on our mental, physical, and the human spirit in trying to survive this pandemic. I have watched, since February of 2020, the numbers of cases and deaths across the country being posted. But I wasn’t expecting to hear of a young lady’s tragic death in New York City. I couldn’t help but take that personal.

This wasn’t the ravages of COVID-19 that cost Ms. Cheslie Kryst, former Miss USA, her life on Sunday night, January 30th, 2022, as it was another type of hideous disease that people inflict on each other, and that is personal persecution, or bullying. And what is horrible about this instance, is the people that were doing the bullying couldn’t even hold a candle to the accomplishments of this young lady’s life and her impact.

Understand this PLEASE!

But that’s what insecure people do; they bully by projecting their insecurities and lack of accomplishments in their own life onto others. Understand this PLEASE, of what they are TRYING to do- They are trying to distract, diminish, and discredit who you really are to what they want you to BE!

Like Trey Gowdy stated on Harris Faulkner’s Show OUTNUMBERED today, Don’t let people who don’t even know you define who you are and your self-esteem. FACTS- Are you going to be depressed and fail at times, I can guarantee it. Are you going to feel you don’t measure up to the challenge, most certainly. These are all emotions that we all will experience in our life. The key is to keep walking forward and never look backwards. DO NOT Look backwards.

Failure is about Looking Backwards

People who don’t have your interest in their hearts, will want you to look backwards, because then they can highlight the things to diminish you with. But failures and shortcomings are what happen in life; and NOT with who you really are. Failures, like successes, are what we do, and not who we are. Here’s what you do with your failures: use them to build experiences that are priceless for the future. And use your successes to build your confidence.

In sports, records are for trophy cases and walls, and records don’t perform on the field or court to compete in the present, you do. Ty Cobb holds the top career batting average of all times at 0.366. That’s getting 36.60%, or getting 3.6 hits out of 10, hits every time that Ty Cobb stepped into the batter’s box. And he has the best Batting Average in MLB, even in today’s stats.

Life is About Keeping Your Life Simple

This is the very reason why sports play an important part and role in our young people’s lives. It teaches us to persevere and be persistent in our life, and NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP OR IN, regardless of the situation, the next game is the next game. Reach out to people that truly love you and care for you and have your well being. And when you experience these types of situations and emotions, reflect on and keep your life SIMPLE.

QUESTION– You know what life is about; it’s about seeing the simple thing of life for what they ARE, like a beautiful bed of roses, being the best you can be each and every day, and at the end of the day, knowing that you gave it your best. Then seeing a beautiful sunset and looking forward to the next day’s sunrise.

Always know that you aren’t an island to yourself, that other people are depending on you for their strength, even if you are imperfect. It isn’t what we accomplish alone who we are, but what difficulties we overcame to get to where we are that is important. Take those lessons and show others what life is about.

Our Prayers goes out to Ms. Cheslie Kryst’s family and especially her parents. May God give you comfort during this time.
