Christmas Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fudge– A Special Dessert for My Guest Served during the Holidays Season that is Forbidden Treat for Me
One of our treats that was popular with our customers especially during the holidays that we made in our bakery was our famous Christmas Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fudge. This fudge as the name implies we made with Nestlé’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate mini chips with pecans and marshmallows. You could have smelled it in the entire community.
If you ever opened up a large bag of Nestlé’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate mini chips the aroma can be intoxicating regardless of the batches of Christmas Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fudge that we made during the week. But there was one problem with the Christmas Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fudge, it wasn’t that it was off my diet except for special occasions, that problem I could deal with.
The Real Problem
The problem wasn’t that simple for me in particular, this problem was much more deeper rooted than it being just a diet and calorie issue. The problem that I had was that I was deadly allergic to chocolate that it can even prevent me from breathing based on it being dark or milk chocolate. This is like Moses looking into the Promise Land from Mount Pisgah and not being able to enjoy it. When they talk about death by chocolate it has a unique meaning for me.
But that is the sacrifice that I have to pay for batching out Christmas Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Fudge to kids of all ages around metro Jackson and that we ship out to customers as appreciation for their business.
I have learned to survive without indulging in the heavenly taste of Chocolate for 65- years.
