This excerpt is from my book detailing the mission that took out Qasem Soleimani at the Baghdad Airport January 04th, 2020 with a Flying Ginsu:

Sotenberg noticed that several high ranking Iranian military personnel were flying under civilian attire to evade notice of dealing in arms. Sotenberg was photographing and sending the digital photographs back to Haifa. As waiting for business associates coming in from Syria to negotiate a petroleum shipment there were some high ranking military officers in civilian attire landing at the Baghdad International Airport in the coming days. These military members that Rosenstraus knew were going to be Qasem Soleimani.
These guys being seen at the Iraq Airport don’t show up unless Qasem Soleimani who had a personal hand in the operation and was going to show up for meetings. Sotenberg started coordinating with Mossad and Sayeret Egoz HQ about the possibility of capturing or neutralizing one or all Qasem Soleimani staff to just send a subtle message to Tehran that they aren’t out to reach justice. The Iran team was trying to smuggle petroleum out of Iran along with arms for much needed revenue for Iran terrorist functions.
Since President Trump’s embargo and sanctions that have been in place since 2017, the Iranian economy was in shambles where even basic public necessaries couldn’t be supplied. This placed huge pressures on the Iranian Regime to a point that a coup from the Iranian people coordinating with the Iran military could occur. This is how President Reagan won the Cold War against the U.S.S.R. Without the Iran Regime, not knowing how the U.S. elections could go, they wanted to open up trade relations with Iraq.
Rosenstraus wrote an action plan that could take out one of Qasem Soleimani chief of staff. In some of the meetings that both Sotenberg and Rosenstraus was in with Iraqi petroleum business reps they told Rosenberg and Sotenberg that we will have massive supplies coming in from a source that they needed to have distributed to Europe and were wondering if Rosenberg and Sotenberg could handle additional refined petroleum exports. The Iranian would smuggle arms through the West Bank and into Gaza through another means.
Rosenstraus wanted to have some assurance who they will be dealing with can fulfill future orders. One of the Iraqi petroleum reps said that a top Iranian head would be coming to meet them at the Baghdad Airport. Rosenstraus didn’t want to make future contracts on petroleum if he didn’t have authorizations from high officials from Iran. The Iraqi representative mentioned that Rosenstraus and Sotenberg will be meeting one of the highest ranking officials that were responsible for the Iraqi resistance during the U.S. Occupation during the first week of January of 2020.
The Iraqi representative would call Sotenberg of the date, time, and place the Iranian official would be coming in at the airport to meet them about arranging contracts of petroleum supplies. Sotenberg asked how much petroleum that was estimated to be contracted for sale, the representative stated 2 million barrels a day. Sotenberg remarked that they could handle that and up to 3 million barrels per day if the Iraqi could meet that. This way it would entice the Iranian head to come in person to the Iraqi airport himself and meet Sotenberg and Rosenstraus at their office.
Sotenberg in a secure message sent word to Syria on December 25th, 2020 that could be relayed to Haifa that something was scheduled for the first week of January. The IDF didn’t want their fingerprints on this so they sent work to Langley that a high level official would be involved in talks at the Baghdad International Airport that has a 98 percent that it would be Qasem Soleimani. There was a note attached that stated- This is a great opportunity for Justice. We don’t want our fingerprints on it!
A message was sent back to Haifa Mossad HQ Intel confirming that this would indeed be Qasem Soleimani schedule to fly into the Baghdad International Airport on January 03, 2020, that they had informants that Qasem Soleimani was going to be the man that their Israeli special ops would be meeting. Please be advised to stay clear of the airport. Mossad advised Sotenberg to remain at offices and not to go to the airport.
On January 04th, 2020, Iranian aircraft cleared Iraqi airspace. An armed drone was launched that morning to stay around Baghdad International Airport waiting for Qasem Soleimani aircraft to land and transfer Qasem Soleimani into his car. As Qasem Soleimani was getting into his car a non-explosive Hellfire R9X missile referred to as Flying Ginsu, because it had three blades fired from a MQ-9 Reaper drone, hit the rooftop of the car to pinpoint accuracy. To not alarm the Iraqis, Sotenberg and Rosenstraus reminded the country and kept their office open that later was used by actual petroleum representatives from Syria.
