The MELIORA Health & Fitness Program RELEASED– CODE to read Nutrition Labels to Eliminate your 1- Culprit to Drop Weight & Inches in Weeks. ID what prevents you from turning your Body into a Turbocharged Calorie-Fat-Burning Juggernaut

       

If you ever tried to read the Standard Nutrition Label, to lose weight or even maintain your health, you discover that you are at a tremendous disadvantage when it comes to losing weight or just maintaining your health. There is some important data missing that you will need to know about in considering Calories, Fats, and Carbs and whether they are The GOOD, The BAD, and UGLY factors.

The calories don’t reflect the two (2) beneficial Fats or the one (1) harmful element, your starches, that are your simple carbs preventing you from losing weight. These three categories that are missing from the data on the label that negatively impact your weight loss and health. These three (3) elements (beneficial Fats and harmful simple carbs) are factors that you will need to know about to lose weight, inches, and improve your overall health. These aren’t listed on the Standard Nutrition Label.

Knowing these three (3) elements will allow you to drop unwanted pounds, inches, and years off your age-defying appearance in WEEKS instead of waiting for MONTHS. Your diet is responsible for eighty percent (80%) of your weight loss instead of sweating it out in a gym and not seeing results for your hard work.

This is very familiar for those that have made New Year’s Resolutions before and didn’t see any results for all of their sweating out in the gym by March. The gym is important, but NOT for the purpose of losing weight.

Not All Calories are Created Equal

NOT all Calories are created equal, just as not all Fats and Carbohydrates are created equal. The Calories contained on the Nutrition Label cannot be interpreted directly to see where all of the calories are coming from, to tell GOOD from the BAD calories.

Those that want to lose weight and inches and maintain one’s overall health will need to understand whether the calories are from Saturated and/or Trans Fats including simple starches that contribute to your weight gain. What you want is your calories to be composed of Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated Fats and complex carbs (NOT LISTED) along with the benefits of a diet that is high in fiber and protein.

It is essential to maintain gut health as well with Probiotics that can be taken as a supplement, or what I prefer to eat sauerkraut, soft cheese, and low sugar yogurts to maintain my gut and brain health.

 

Monitoring my Results

I prefer to measure my waistline each week as opposed to weighing in. A healthy waistline is determined by taking your height in inches and dividing by 2. My healthy waistline would be 64/2 = 32.0 inches.    

The Three Elements to Identify on the Nutrition Label

To lose weight, inches, and maintain your overall health, you will need to break down the: Calories, Fats, and Carbohydrates on the Nutrition Label to see where your saboteurs are coming from to sabotage your weight loss efforts.      

There are three (3) elements- Calories, Fats, and Carbohydrates that needs to be determined from the Nutrition Label by deciphering that will have a huge impact on how your body metabolizes calories to lose weight instead of gaining weight. I have identified the nine (9) Essential elements from the Nutrition Label that have a direct impact on your overall health, shown above.

The Sodium and Cholesterol factors on the Nutrition Label is just secondary elements for controlling sodium and Cholesterol intake. There are 3- Restrictive factors, 2- Healthy factors, and 3- Indeterminate factors that will directly impact how calories are metabolized by your body listed below:

The 3 Restrictive Factors are: your Saturated and Trans Fats and Sugar including any added Sugar. These need to be restricted or even eliminated from your diet.

The 2 Healthy Factors are: your Dietary Fiber and Protein that are beneficial as listed above.

The 3 Indeterminate Factors are: Calories, Total Fats (Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated) and Carbohydrates (Simple and Complex); the Simple Carbs are your simple starches, these are your major culprit to weight loss. Starches are actually worse than your sugars.

The four (4) restrictive factors that need to be curtailed in your diet are your (1) Saturated, (2) Trans Fats, (3) Simple Carbs, and your (4) Sugars. These four (4) Indeterminate factors you will need to account for and be determined by a deciphering technique that is easy to do. As you get accustom to the deciphering technique, you will be able to do it at a glance to see what you CAN or CAN’T eat. Just a HINT– You want high Dietary Fiber and Protein values.

This deciphering technique will allow you to identify even at a glance what foods you can eat to lose weight and maintain your health and still enjoy a satisfying meal. It is important to take into account No. 9 category, the serving size, when you develop your menus for your meals. This is on the Nutrition Label as the ninth (9th) element, above.

The 2 Beneficial Fats that NOT Listed on the Nutrition Label: these are Omega- 3 and 6 (Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated) Fats. These are your healthy fats you need to maintain your health, and especially your heart and mental health.

The Beneficial CARBS that NOT Listed- Are your complex carbs. Another part of your heart health. The worst thing to do in a diet is to eliminate your complex carbs for your heart and mental health. One example of an excellent Complex Carb is Pinto Beans, one of my main staples at lunch and dinner.

The Harmful CARBS NOT Listed, these are your Saboteurs: These are your Starches, simple carbohydrates, These are your Saboteurs to your weight loss efforts to maintain your health, especially if you are over the age of 50.

If you are trying to watch what you eat, and you still CAN’T lose weight, your saboteurs are your Simple Carbs and Simple Starches. You got to uncover these saboteurs to give you a chance at weight loss.

    

Deciphering Code for Nutrition Labels

I used my Chemical Engineering background to develop analytics to help identify foods that can be used for energy as apposed to those foods that are store as fat, clogging the arteries, and leading to elevated numbers at your annual physicals.

Eighty percent (80%) of weight loss and maintaining healthy numbers comes down to the ability to decipher Nutrition Labels to find the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly factors in your menu items. Your ability to decipher Nutrition Labels on products in grocery stores or off menus at restaurants will allow you to turn your body into a Turbocharged-Calorie-Fats-Burning-Juggernaut. This allows your body to do the heavy lifting for you.

The Fitness Part of Your Overall Health

The major benefit of The MELIORA Health & Fitness Program is you are using fitness not to burn fat off, but just to tone up, strengthen, and condition your body. You’re not trying to sweat for hours in the gym each day to burn the Fat. Below is an AB Challenge that I did in July 2024, at age 67, after a photoshoot we did for our Fall Collection, I workout for 45- minutes for 6- days per week following Cardio-Aerobic Strength Training Exercise Regimen (CASTER).

I’m posing for an AB Challenge after we did a photoshoot for my Tiger SPORTY Cockpit Apparel & Gear in July of 2024 at age 67. My motorcycle is an INDIAN Scout Bobber 60 and the aircraft is a WWII P-51 Mustang like the one Tom Cruse flew in his movie TOP GUN: MAVERICK.

Fortunately for you, you don’t have to sweat weight off in the gym to drop your weight. One reason is that you can’t sweat off enough of your weight anyway. Even with my challenging CASTER workout, I’m only burning ~525 calories in 55 minutes.

A Big MAC has 563 Calories, this is why diet matters more than exercising. And some of the fast food calories aren’t beneficial to your health. It doesn’t take very long to understand why exercising alone isn’t going to solve your weight issue.

You are using the gym time for strength, fitness, toning, and conditioning as part of  your fitness. I depend on my fitness regimen to allow me to model and produce training videos. There is another secret about strength training that is also beneficial to you, it provides an age-defying skin, not by years, but by decades, that I have proven at age 67.

Muscles that undergo weight resistance reps training of stress release a natural human growth hormone from your pituitary gland that allows your muscles to produces and release collagen to your joints and to your skin. This is the best age-defying therapy that can be used to stop the aging process and in some cases can even reverse the aging process.

The Dick Tracy-Type DECODER

You are using your diet to lose your weight based on WHEN you eat (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and WHAT you eat using something like the Dick Tracy-type DECODER! Dropping weight it’s not difficult if you have the Dick Tracy-type Code, or the MAC score, to decipher the Nutrition Labels to turn your body into a Turbocharged-Calorie-Fat-Burning Juggernaut. Without this MAC score, it is every difficult to drop the weight and years off your body.

The Dick Tracy-type Code that is actually called the MAC stands for Metabolic Analytics Code Score that takes 9- Data Points into account to help you determine what healthy source of food your body can burn as energy instead of store as belly fat, something you DO NOT WANT TO DO!

 

The MELIORA DIET is just as important for those just trying to maintain their health numbers, as noted by my physical numbers that I have posted below from my 2024 annual physical, at age 67. I do not take any prescribed mediation of any type. Now 10- years after I lost 9.25 inches in my waistline and 52- Lbs. these are my numbers:

The Reason for my Weight Lost

I was retiring as a transmission line grid engineer after 35- years at age 57 to start my sports performance and apparel company, Tiger SPORTY Cockpit Apparel & Gear. I was going to produce training videos as the instructor, and something even more challenging, modeling my sports apparel, now at age 67, with models in their mid 20’s, below:

This was taken in July of 2024 with my model in her mid-20’s. The Chevrolet Corvette is a 1963 Stingray. I am 67 years old.

The other reason that I wanted to retain my health and fitness is that I’m still involved in aviation and one of my favorite hobbies, welding, in my shop. You have to be in good shape to get into position to weld and lift heavy metal that can weigh over 115 pounds into place to weld.

I am helping a friend out welding a winch bracket onto his JEEP.

One of my welding projects is building Smoker/Grills out of heavy metal that provide the perfect process for smoking and grilling selection cuts of high Protein meats.

Field Test of The MELIORA DIET

A field test to the effectiveness of The MELIORA Diet & Fitness Program was done while writing my book. We were dining at Longhorn Steakhouse, when our usual waitress seemed to be worried about something. When I asked about the issue, she explained she was going to be in a friend’s wedding as a Bridesmaid in 6- weeks and gained about 15 pounds after the dress was made and fitted.           

I just had completed my manual script of my book in draft form. I went out and retrieved a draft copy from my vehicle and gave it to her to test out for me. In four weeks, we were back in Longhorn Steakhouse Restaurant and you could tell our waitress had a totally complete outlook. First she asked me how much she owned me?

I replied absolutely nothing, because she was field testing my diet program. Then she explained that she didn’t lose just 15- pounds, she lost 22- pounds and had to take up her Bridesmaid dress.

September is Prostate Awareness Month

I would like to encourage men over the age of 40 or 45 to get their PSA Test done during their Annual Physical. I can attest to the importance of my PSA Test last year where my PSA was elevated to 6.2 (normal reading is equal to or less than 4.0).

A Biopsy showed that I had Stage 2 Prostate Cancer that prompted me to have a Prostatectomy in February of 2024. The last two follow up PSA Tests have shown NO detectable value for PSA, since I don’t have a Prostate.
