The Importance of Developing Your ESP Self-Coaching Technique Forum in Your Golf Game
Most high-performing athletes who perform flawlessly contribute their performance to what they call, being In the Zone. The Zone is an ESP– ExtraSensory Performance. The Zone can be a great self-coaching technique used by golfers, on and off the golf course. An athlete occasionally describes this high level of performance as being in a tunnel. The tunnel is actually the ability for the athlete to have a high degree of focus on one point.
This high degree of focus allows the athlete to cause their conscious mind to be subordinate to the subconscious mind. This is the same technique used in yoga and meditation techniques. These type of athletes develop an ESP Focus Factor, where everything else around them becomes out of focus, like photographers use in portraits where just their subject is in clear focus.
We all have experienced, to some degree, the ESP Focus Factor before, but might not have been aware of it at the time. If you have been driving a vehicle for a period of time, especially on the Interstate System or along a scenic highway, you have experienced this condition before in a short period of time. I will elaborate on how this ESP Focus Factor occurs later in this article and how a golfer can develop it. This type of training is very useful for the golfer to develop in their golf game.
