A Golf Game That Isn’t a Pain in the Neck
A Father’s Day Gift- a golf game that isn’t a pain in the neck, like another necktie; instead give your dad the ability to untie his golf game. This Father’s Day, instead of giving your dad another necktie, give him the ability to link his elbows with his shoulders to create more power and control. This was the same technique that Arnold Palmer gave President Eisenhower to improve his golf game before a Pro-Am.
The ESPY Golf Swing Coach technique provides the golfer, your dad, with the ability to take his baseball-style swing from the batter’s box to the tee box with power and control, but more importantly confidence. Your dad’s golf game shouldn’t be like a necktie that is a source of discomfort and restriction, but the opportunity to synchronize his elbows with his shoulders by creating a tremendous advantage that is as simple as being in the batter’s box.
Become your Own Golf Coach on the Golf Course
The ESPY Golf Swing Coach allows your dad to become his own golf coach on the golf course. Sir Nick Faldo at the 2015 Quicken Loans Tournament stated, “That a golfer must become their own coach on the golf course.” This self-coaching technique develops what is called the Critical Swing Path, where the golfer focuses on developing three simple muscle maneuvers. Two of these maneuvers we perform each-and-everyday, are referred to as Supination (Sync) and Pronation (Preset).
Syncing the dominant elbow and presetting the wrists provides such an advantage that Ken Duke, Marco Dawson, Angela Stanford, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, and Bobby Jones also used these two maneuvers.
Apply the Baseball-style Swing to Your Golf Swing
The ESPY Golf Swing allows your dad the ability to take what the bicyclist depends on for their power and speed and apply that ten-speed bicycle approach to their golf game for effortless power and maximum control. Like the baseball batter in the batter’s box, your dad doesn’t have to think about his golf swing, except for hitting his target. How many baseball players think about their techniques and mechanics while staring down a 90-mph fastball? None!
Probably the best quote in golf is from the movie Caddyshack and is the basis of The ESPY Golf Swing Coach. This was where Ty Webb (Chevy Chase), told Danny Noonan (Michael O’Keefe)– I’m going to give you a little advice. There’s a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball.
The ESPY Golf Swing Coach shows your dad how to:
- There’s a force– ability to sync the elbows and preset the wrists; and play how your dad practices.
- Get in touch with it– Be in The ZONE, where your dad can develop the Critical Swing Path, or muscle memory.
- Stop thinking– The very last thing your dad wants to do is think before and during the golf swing. Your dad wants to subconsciously perform the golf swing, like it is natural.
- Be the ball– Don’t internalize the golf swing. Project the golf swing from the ball to the target.
A Great Muscle Memory
Is one that can be projected outward, instead of internalized. I like to think of my dominant elbow, like a gear with a pin welded to the outside of my elbow like a cog. I want to sync and preset this cog with my shoulders. This allows the elbows and shoulders to behave as gears on the ten-speed bicycle where during:
- TAKEAWAY– the small gear (elbows) coils the large gear (shoulders) to create power.
- DOWNSWING– the gears are naturally reversed; the large gear (shoulders) uncoils. turning the small gear (elbow) creating speed. This creates the perfect golf swing.
