Exercise Your Way to Health/Younger Skin– You have Your Own Fountain of Youth Based on WHAT, WHEN You Eat and How You Workout, Even over 65
We all are aware of the health and fitness benefits that we receive from following a healthy diet and fitness program for a great waistline and physique even over the age of 65, as I am. Guys, while we can’t do anything about the number of birthdays that we have the opportunity to celebrate with family and friends; we can have a direct impact on how we age over those years.
Don’t ever regret having birthdays and enjoying those years of your life that God has granted us. Time is a fact of our life, but we can also take advantage of those years to actually defy our age. Even over the age of 65! I follow a very simple but effective health, fitness, and conditioning program that also benefits my skin. When you think of a fitness program you usually are thinking of strengthening your muscles. But I achieved something even more amazing, I achieved the skin condition that I had in my mid-30’s over the age of 65.
I am the first to admit that I can do everything and even more now since I’m retired than I did in my mid-30’s, when I worked according to someone else’s schedule. The truth is that I do experience soreness and stiffness that I didn’t have when I was in my mid-30’s. But the good news is that soreness and stiffness don’t last very long if I continue to work out with my MACS Health & Fitness Program. I follow a healthy diet and fitness program that dramatically diminishes the soreness and stiffness that comes with aging. I turned back my body’s clock to 30- years ago. I’m able to work on my farm, in my welding shop, and at the hangar where I just experience mild amounts of soreness and stiffness that goes away in a couple of hours.
The extra benefit of my MACS Health & Fitness is that it allows me to maintain an active schedule as if I was in my mid-30’s once again. If you want to avoid the ravages of aging- eat healthy, workout regularly, and take a hobby that you love doing and make it your second career, as I have done with ranching, fitness instruction, golf and golf instruction, welding, and writing fitness and sports articles.

But the real feel of a healthy diet and fitness program is even more noticeable in having a healthier waistline, physique, but also a younger looking skin. One of the major factors of aging is the loss of structure support in the area of muscles and skeletal system that leads to accelerated aging process of the skin with those fine lines, wrinkles, sags and bags, especially under the eyes and chin. Weakening of the muscles and skeletal system dramatically contributes to the aging process of the skin and maintaining a tone body. The muscles are a critical component of supplying collagen and what are called Myokines for a healthier, firmer, and younger looking skin.
Research has shown that strength training along with regular exercises not only delays or slows down the natural aging process, but diet and strength training can actually reverse the aging process. But that’s not all a healthy diet with strength training and regular exercises can achieve, it also is critical in maintaining and improving heart health and cognitive function.

Other benefits of a healthy diet, strength training, and exercising are that they combine to reduce graying along with reducing fine lines and wrinkles that people spend significant amounts of time and money on spa and skincare products trying to treat. Problems with these types of therapies are that they provide temporary benefits and are exterior remedies. It is essential that you strengthen the skeleton and core muscles that are a major component of healthier and younger looking skin, waistline, and toned muscles from the inside out.
Diet with strength training and regular exercises just doesn’t slow, or reverse the aging process, these actually have the ability to rejuvenate the skin and cognitive brain function to when we were decades younger. The Metabolic diet is based on a caloric restricted diet of WHAT to eat and just as important is WHEN to eat. These foods are on the list of foods to prevent Alzheimer’s base on the low Metabolic Index Rate (MIR).

Cockpit Collection even over the age of 65 with my models in their early 20’s. On July the 14th, of this year, I even did an AB Challenge at age 66 in our hangar after our photoshoot session.
