1:48 Scale Die-Cast Models and Inexpensive Remote Control Aircraft
We are planning on carrying 1:48 scale die-cast models of both prop and turban aircraft for collectors of all ages to enjoy one of the most fascinating fields of aviation. We will soon have easy to operated remote control model aircraft for aviators to enjoy flying without having a large investment.
My Interest in Aviation
My interest in aviation started at an early age with a neighbor of my grandparents, Colonel Bishop, who built remote control aircraft in his garage that I was totally fascinated me that led to my first hobby, model aircraft. Of course it didn’t help that my uncle and aunt owned a hobby shop where I spent my grass cutting and odd jobs money that I earned to buy models aircraft. I even built balsa wood model aircraft that I spent hours flying sailing them off the roof of the barn lean-to.
At age 12, I got my first string gas engine operated P-40 Warhawk model aircraft that I flew for hours in the junior high school football field every Saturday. I developed a deep love for aviation building models in my room at age 11. This laid the path for me to join the U.S. ARMY my senior year in high school with the 101st Airborne attached to the 326th Combat Engineers.
After I Left the U.S. ARMY
After my time in service, I earned my degree in engineering and went to work with a utility company in transmission lines construction/maintenance, MISSISSIPPI ENTERGY SERVICES INC, where I flew aerial patrol for the next 33- years until I retired. I logged over 550- flight hours per year in a 206(D) Bell Jet Ranger Helicopter, shown above, in all types of weather and conditions especially during outages.
After retiring, I joined the aviation club at our airport/museum where I still work airshows, catering Catfish for fund raisers, and maintenance work, a Kerosene Cowboy. I also have fitness training workouts that I conduct weekly and dive golf lessons. I want kids and parents to have the same opportunity as I did to develop an interest in aviation where they can enjoy aviation as a family. All airports are important to the economy of a community regardless of the size of the airport or community, where I stopped at a many times to refuel, Jet-A.
Like we in aviation say- A Mile of Roadway will Take You Nowhere, A Mile of Runway will Take you Anywhere!

THE FBX-25 Workout & CASIMIR DIET has allowed me to model our apparel even at age 65. This workout and diet has allowed me to have the skin and conditioning that I had in my mid-30’s at age 65. There is nothing that can compare with stepping in front of the lens of a camera, not even a mirror can provide you with this type of critique, especially if the ground crew challenge you to an AB Challenge in January of 2023, shown below at age 65.
