THE QATSPY CAFE Blue Plate Special Delicious DELTA CATFISH BATTER
A BATTER THAT WILL HIT A HOME RUN AT THE PLATE EVERY TIME!
This is the exact same batter that we use to batter our catfish!
Yellow cornmeal-base Catfish batter with the perfect blend of spices for that sweet, southern down home taste that will make every plate of Catfish one that family and friends will remember for a lifetime, just like the friendships you share with each other. Experience 20-years of working on the perfect blend of meals and spices to fry up that great taste that restaurants can’t match.
This is the same batter that I use in my catering business that I run for cooking at weddings, 4th of July outings, Air Shows and those special dinners where I entertain my guest on the back patio. Fresh Fried Catfish is a great dish served up year-round for any occasion.
Recommendation for Frying:
I usually deep fry in my commercial Fryers at 350 degrees in Canola Oil for three-and-a-half minutes for that delicious crisp taste. Peanut oil is a little too heavy to fry catfish with. Avoid using vegetable oil, as it breaks down, just with one use. I usually use Canola Oil 10 times before replacing it. You use my QATSPY Catfish Batter and follow these recommendations and you will have perfect fried catfish every time. One bag (ONE-AND-HALF Pound (1.50Lbs.) will batter approximately 15 to 20 pounds of catfish.
To order enough catfish for your meal: Take a headcount and divide that by half and order that much catfish in pounds. Example: You are feeding 12 people, you will need 6 pounds of catfish
On the battering process, wait until your Canola oil reaches 350 degrees before you batter your catfish with THE QATSPY Catfish Batter for Frying Catfish and other fish.
For Bulk Orders over 3, there is a price savings that you will receive.
