The Challenge for LSU is Coming off a Big Win with Bama
After the epic game of the Century last week, we are now heading to a town that William Faulkner, Archie Manning, and Eli Manning put on the map, Oxford, Mississippi. We are going to watch Ole Miss host LSU. This is a test, just as much for LSU as it is for Ole Miss, who is trying to establish their team after sanctions were placed on them by the NCAA. Sometimes a big win causes a team to have a hangover. But, I think Coach Ed Orgeron will have his team focused.
There is nothing like SEC Football in the South on such a beautiful Saturday, especially after an absolutely beautiful Veterans’ Weekend. What a day to observe our National Treasure, our Vets. Never has so much have been asked from so few to give the most for our Freedom and Liberty. We can enjoy a football weekend and other events because of our Veterans’ sacrifice.
The Square in Oxford, Mississippi and the Grove
If you visit Oxford, Mississippi, you have to pay a visit to The Square for a dining experience and books that are offered. There are several restaurants that offer a great culinary experience.
The Grove takes tailgating to a cocktail status, where tents are adorned with tablecloths and chandeliers. Where the culinary selections range from the basic delights to the delicacies of hors d’oeuves found in four and five-star restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, The Square is well populated with restaurants that will have you coming back for the upcoming Holidays with family and friends. And, don’t pass up sitting with William Faulkner.
My Predictions of the LSU Vs. Ole Miss, I think Ole Miss under Matt Luke will provide LSU a challenge, but I think the spread will be 14-points in favor of LSU. Even last year, LSU has stepped up to the big games without losing focus. The Texas A&M game last year was a testament to this.
