Unexpected Benefit of The DELPHI- DIET/FITNESS Program- My Objective was to Drop LBS and Inches, but I Dropped Something even more Unexpected

In 2015, I decided to retire to start my own Online sports performance training and apparel business. But I had one obstacle that I would have to confront, as I was overweight, due to a hip injury that I had to have a hip replacement. But even after six years after my hip replacement, I couldn’t find a diet to allow me to lose the weight that I gained.

So I used my chemical engineering background to develop The DELPHI DIET & CAST FITNESS, based on using Weight Factors that I used to determine foods that I could eat and still lose the weight from Nutrition Labels. My goal was to lose 45- pounds in three months, before March of 2016 when I was to start modeling my line of apparel and be the instructor in my sports training videos. That is a tall order to achieve at any age, but especially at the age of 57.

How I Reached My Weight Loss Objective

I didn’t lose 45- pounds in 3- months, but I actually lost 45- pounds within 6- weeks of starting my The DELPHI DIET & CAST FITNESS . In nine 9- months, I lost a total of 52- pounds that I have managed to keep off now going on 7- years! It is one thing to lose the weight, but a totally different degree of accomplishment to keep the weight off for 7- years.

During the process of losing my weight, I noticed something really amazing. Not only did I drop the weight, I dropped years off my appearance. I had healthier looking skin. This is due directly to the Weight Factor I use to select foods that I can eat from grocery stores and my favorite restaurants. The Weight Factor identifies foods that are high in fiber and protein, but low in sugars and hidden sugars, which are your starches. The starches are actually worst than the sugars. One reason for this is that you can unconsciously eat more starches than foods that are high in sugar. Example– Try to eat a cup of sugar, or try to eat an Idaho potato which is equivalent to a cup of sugar.

Foods high in fiber and protein allow your body to produce collagen that repairs joints, muscles, and keeps skin looking healthier. Combine a diet that is high in fiber and protein with regular exercises and you can turbocharge the amount of collagen your body naturally produces while burning calories. You can’t even buy an anti-aging cream that works this effectively for the price. But there is one thing that you have to do is wear skin protection like a hat and use sunscreen.

I work on my farm and play golf during the week, I DO NOT go out to work or play golf without both a hat or sunscreen. I also spent 33- years working transmission line work exposed to the weather and sun. I always wore a hat and sunscreen when I worked outside.

I’m the guy in the middle on a Double Steel Channel X-arm a month before I retired in June 23, in 2015. What is interesting about this photograph is where it was taken. It was taken on the 115kV Transmission line crossing the Tallahatchie River in Mississippi, near where Billie Joe McAllister jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge in Bobbie Gentry song.

The Photo Finish of The DELPHI- DIET & CAST FITNESS Program  

In horse racing, they use what they call the Photo Finish to determine the results of a race.

In the featured image above, I’m 64 years old in our hangar, where I was assisting in preparing for an airshow. One of the guys challenged me to an AB Challenge after I was changing shirts that had grease on the khaki shirt that I was wearing doing some maintenance work.

If you want to look younger, you got to THINK younger and keep active.

I’m shown here on my farm keeping the grass mowed close where I can use this area as my golf training area. To me mowing grass is relaxing, especially listening to my songs on my headset for ear protection.

Another important factor in looking younger is that you have to think and act younger by keeping active even after you retire. The best method to remain active is fitness, but also pick a sport that you enjoy playing.

Another outlet that I have and enjoy is riding my INDIAN Scout Motorcycle, especially along the Natchez Trace. I call it active meditation. And of course, I don’t ride or go anywhere without my US WINGS A-2 Leather Flight Jacket that has become my new sports jacket.
