October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I shown here in my Home GYM where I work out for 60- minutes a day, 5- times a week. This is in the attic space over my golf training facilities and my photography studio. This area isn’t air conditioned, nor is it heated. During the summertime here in Mississippi the Heat Index can reach 118 degrees (F). Perfect for conditioning what I call my Sweat-It-Out Conditioning.

The FDA ADVISORY to PROCESSORS on SALT– Amount of Salt has a Direct Impact on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Disease, Underlying Causes

I have been reviewing the raw data of the underlying causes of deaths from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The top three (3) categories are Hypertension, which comes in at  First with 27%, Diabetes comes in at Second with 18%, and Cardiac Disease comes in at Third, with 12% of the deaths. What makes this even more deadly is that all three of these underlying causes are considered Silent Killers.

If you are like me, I was surprised that Hypertension topped the underlying causes of death from this COVID-19 Pandemic. I was thinking obesity would have topped this list, but it came in at fifth (5th) on the list below, at 9%:

  • 27% Hypertension
  • 18% Diabetes
  • 12% Cardiac disease
  • 11% Neurological
  • 09% Obesity
  • 09% Chronic Kidney Disease
  • 07% Congestive Heart Failure
  • 04% Pulmonary
  • 02% Cancer
  • 02% Asthma

The action that the FDA took yesterday of issuing a voluntary advisory to food processors to cut back on the amount of sodium that they put in their foods might be link to the first underlying causes of death from COVID-19, being Hypertension. My engineering background causes me to look not just at the effects of a situation, but the raw data to form what we refer to as a root cause analysis to form an objective review.

This is the very reason why I have been writing my QATSPY® Articles ever since last March about the health of Americans leading up to this pandemic. I’ve been stressing the need for Americans to take their health, diet, and fitness serious. Oddly enough, I have been checking my blood pressure for the past 14 years every night since I turned 50. Below is my normal blood pressure and pulse reading without any prescribed medication of any type:

From the raw data that has been coming in since March of last year indicating that Hypertension is the top underlying cause of death from COVID-19, I think this was why the FDA took this action. This voluntary advisory from the FDA, I think, was due to the first and third underlying causes of death from this pandemic.

In addition to checking my blood pressure nightly, I also monitor my Cholesterol and blood glucose readings on a monthly basis. Your Strength and Conditioning have a direct impact on these vitals overtime. I’ve been working out since I was 12 years old. If Fitness came in a pill form at drugstores, they couldn’t even keep the shelves stocked. They would be sold out as soon as they receive their shipment.

If I needed a good reason to follow my DELPHI-Age-Defying DIET & FITNESS System, I think I found it these past 2-years. Just these top three (3) underlying causes of death underscore the importance of following a Strength and Conditioning Program.

The reason that I added the wording Age-Defying was due to the conditioning that I developed as part of my workout program. My Home GYM, shown in the featured image, isn’t air conditioned, nor is it heated, that I renovated in March of 2019. During the summer months, the heat index can reach temperatures of 118 degrees. This is the important conditioning component of my workout. I call it Sweat-It-Out Conditioning. I even put on my pullover sweat to exercise for a more challenging workout.

 

CAUTION: If you are going to start a Sweat-it-Out Conditioning Program, check with your doctor first and start in short intervals, like 5 minutes, until you can build up to your goal. My normal workout is 60- minutes, with 25- minutes on my exercise bike.

 

This type of conditioning is like a Time-Warp fitness for my muscles and skin. It is almost like that I turned back the clock on my overall health and my skin to when I was in my 30’s. The photograph below, this was taken this past August after we did a photo shoot of our fall fashion of our Leather Jackets that I carry in my Online Store. I’m 64 years old in this photo.
