5-Yrs of Results of the DELPHI Diet Program for Health & Fitness

This month, November 25, 2019, marks five years since I developed and followed my Kosher 925-MET Diet to help me reach my health/fitness objectives. If you are like me, I have tried more diets than I would like to mention over the past 15 years, without seeing any results. I might have lost between eight to ten pounds, but nothing like the weight I needed to lose.

Before I retired in August of 2014, I was finishing up the final draft of what became THE QATSPY® Palmer Golf Technique and Procedure. In addition to the Palmer Golf Tech Procedure, I attempted to produce videos in November of 2014 to demonstrate the various golf swing techniques in my Palmer Golf Swing. But after one take, I knew I needed to lose weight.

The camera isn’t kind to you anyway, by appearing to add 5-to-10 pounds to you, so being overweight is an even worse situation to have to deal with in making videos. I needed a diet program that would provide results to put me back to producing golf training videos within 6-months.

In college, we studied the Universal Theory, where there is a common theory to explain how various fields of science are related to each other. So I decided to apply the 8-hour Circadian Rhythms of sleep patterns to my diet and combine that with the Kosher Diet that I was already following.

Start of the DELPHI Diet Program

I started seeing only marginal results of losing 12 to 15 pounds within 3-weeks, but I needed better results than losing 15 pounds. So with my engineering background, I started applying Analytics, based on the data from the typical Nutrition Label. I knew what the perfect foods and the absolute worst foods were that form bookends to my Weight Factor. The perfect foods are Sweet Potatoes and pinto beans. I was aware that the worst foods consist of potato chips and some snack foods.

THE QATSPY Weight Factor

After about two weeks of using the Analytics process, I developed a Weight Factor (WF) equation by using the Nutrition Label, shown above. The Weight Factor that I developed essentially isolated the sugar and the hidden sugars, the starches. The starches are actually worse than the listed sugars on the Nutrition Labels.

A great way to prove that starches are worse than sugars in trying to achieve a healthy weight is by comparing the Nutrition data of the sweet potato to that of the Idaho potato, shown above. Even though the sweet potato has more sugar at 7 grams compared to that of the Idaho potato at 1 gram, the Weight Factor for the sweet potato is 2.778 and that of the Idaho potato is 3.43.

Based on trials that I conducted, I established my personal Weight Factor Threshold at 3.25, for 80 percent of my meals during a week. The other 20 percent of my meals are within the Weight Factor between 3.25 to 5.50. I don’t eat anything over 5.50. Also the WF can be used to identify foods that can be used to prevent Alzheimer’s. The closer the WF of a food is to 2.00 the better prevention characteristics the food has to prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s.

NOTE: Except for Pumpkin and Squash, all items are below 3.25 my Threshold that I established for the Kosher 925-MET Diet Program.

The Results of my DELPHI Diet and the Weight Factor Formula

Within three weeks of combining the Weight Factor with the Circadian Rhythm, of eating between 9 am to 5 pm, I turbocharged my weight loss. I lost 32 pounds in 2 months. After just 9- months, I lost a total of 55- pounds, or over 8.75 inches in my waistline, from a 37.5 waistline down to 28.75 inches.

Then by October of 2015, I started making THE QATSPY® Golf Swing Videos that covered what I refer to as the Bunt/Rap-Type Golf Swing Technique, including a putting video, posted below. Additional Benefit of the DELPHI Diet Program is Skin Care

The Weight Factor allows for a person to increase their protein and fiber intake, which has a direct impact on a person’s weight loss. But there is a additional benefit for increasing fiber in one’s diet, as fiber improves skin care health. referring back to the feature photograph, where I’m 61 years old. Fiber is important to one’s skin care, in addition to dietary health. Fiber acts like a janitorial service by removing waist from our bodies.

The Formula Weight Factor:

The Weight Factor (WF)= To the total Calories divided by the sum of Total Carbohydrates + Dietary Fiber + Sugar + Protein. The closer to 2 you get to your Weight Factor, the less hidden sugars, and/or starches, are in your food selection items. This applies to items from either the grocery store or even restaurant menus that you will consume in your diet. Most restaurants have Nutrition information posted on their website that you can access with your I-Phone.

Another benefit of my Kosher 925-MET Diet is my blood pressure readings. My blood pressure went from 145/95, down to 116/69. Blood pressure is a direct indication of heart health and sugar levels.

NOTE: I’m not on any type of prescribed medication at age 61. I exercise four to five times per week.

Impact of the DELPHI Diet on Heart Health , Especially in Regard to Women’s Health

This evening on FOX local evening News, eating after 6 pm. especially large meals for women, had a direct impact on their chances of increasing Cardiovascular disease and also increased their Hypertension (high blood pressure). This is another supporting data that you should eat your meals between 9 AM. and 5 or 6 PM.
