Honoring Our Veterans/Pilots of THE QATSPY® at The Turn Cafe Hangar with Our Specialty Fried Catfish Luncheon with our longtime Customers
A few of my 270 Veteran friends decided to drop-in for our famous Catfish Luncheon. Once a year, we hold our October Feast Air Show to allow Veteran Pilots to fly-in and drop-in for a blue plate special of Catfish, French Fried, Hushpuppies, and Coleslaw.
We always like to thank our Veterans and show our appreciation for their loyal business during 2020. It’s not what you fly that matters, but how you look flying your aircraft that matters. There are three (3) distinguishing icons that a pilot has to have besides their aviators and flight suit, and that is the authentic A-2 Leather Flight Jacket that is worn by our Veteran pilots and customers.

Just a little tip on prefect Catfish meal– place your catfish into a bath of dark beer, like Genius®, that we use for our catering jobs before we batter the catfish. The response the we get is the best catfish we ever had. I had a line 400 feet long waiting to be served as we were frying to get ready to serve.
When I worked as a Grid Engineer with a utility before I retired, we served the Delta region, where some of the best tips on the best prepping and frying Catfish are a family tradition. I learned from the best.
